It’s really just an unbiased observation.

I thought Trump did well in NATO, Saudi, NAFTA and China negotiations. I give Trump credit all the time. But you can’t honestly say he’s winning this negotiation with a straight face. Nancy is eating him alive. Trump can’t afford another shutdown on this and needs to find a way back to 3 billion at least dude.

If he calls Emergency the courts will have it for years and he loses the issue in 2020. The GOP wants this in courts so they can shift blame to judges. You guys don’t see what’s going on here?

He was also expected to sign the CR back in December and multiple GOP senators were saying that and no dice as the shutdown still happened.

I watched that episode.

Unfortunately, he ended up with a dollar, because a dead relative's birthdate, a month, or something goofy had to make it have a million. It was retarded.

Trump's approval ratings have gone up since the last shutdown.

He can definitely afford another.

Richard Shelby sucks.

Alabama desperately needs to replace BOTH of its Senators.

Maybe there will be surprise that allows an allocation of money from DOD to DHS.

Let me ask you a question:

If Trump declares a national emergency and uses military funds to build the wall, how are Democrats in Congress going to stop him? Republicans control the Senate. Do you actually think they are going to pass a cease and desist order? And if someone does sue and attempts to stop it, who controls the Supreme Court?

5.7 billion to 1.37 billion for a fence isn’t winning no matter how Lindsey spins it. Losing 4.4 billion on Wall funding in negotiations is surrender.

Exactly. $5.7B “for a big, beautiful, 30-foot, metal wall” has been reduced to “here’s $1.4B to continue what we are already building and maintaining” with a prohibition SPECIFICALLY forbidding permanent construction.

Yeah...that’s complete capitulation.

In fairness though, he made a promise he couldn’t keep without Congressional support and you all bought it. A wall required not getting beat in the mid-terms...

In fairness, the supreme Court nominees were worth it.

Also these same shite head Republicans had power and wouldn't/couldnt do it.

Trump declares the NE, gets his money, moves on and never deals with Pelosi again for legislation all the way to the 2020 election.

That's assuming the one filing suit has standing to sue.

What exactly are you basing this on? Immigration is still one of the biggest issues according to polling and people are in favor of increased enforcement and more barriers.

Art of the Deal.
I bet Trump only needs a fraction of the 5.7 billion.
