This reminds me of when Michael Corleone told the Nevada senator that his offer was nothing, and that he thought it would be appropriate for the senator to pay Corleone's gambling license application fee.

Border deal includes $1.375 billion for physical barriers, but no funding for a wall, per a source. It also reduces overall ICE detention beds by 17.4 percent - to 40,520.

Calm down everyone. The democrats have been saying for months that they would not agree to one dime for a barrier. They just gave in, which opens the door wide open to allocate funding from numerous other sources.
Sounds like Lindsey Graham has somewhat latched on to this as well.

If that's true take the deal and start construction.
Not if there's other disagreeable shite in the bill. Like a reduction in numbers that can be detained by ICE/BP, or cutting the number of border agents. You just know the Ds slid some shite in there hoping it won't be noticed.

Yeah this deal is a big fat no for me. frick Richard Shelby.

Damn that Shelby guy is a POS. That is a terrible "deal"
WTF?
WTF?

Nancy is the toughest negotiator in DC

Exactly, we need to see the details. Fortunately, unlike with Obumacare, we should be able to read this BEFORE it is passed/signed. I think you have an excellent take on it.

exactly. I'm not jumping through hoops to do something democrats campaigned on for years because it's common sense.
Executive Order it is.

Congressional appropriations for construction are usually very specific and—when they feel the need—extremely restrictive. When they didn’t want a new round of BRAC, the NDAA included language that the military couldn’t even expend funds (including manpower related expenses) to even PLAN how a BRAC might go.

That insult makes for an easy decision.
Posted on 2/11/19 at 9:09 pm to conservativewifeymom
C'mon Mr. President, these people want more illegal immigration and are spitting in your face with this bullshite "deal".
Don't give into them.
Call their bluff and declare the national emergency.

5.7 billion to 1.37 billion for a fence isn’t winning no matter how Lindsey spins it. Losing 4.4 billion on Wall funding in negotiations is surrender.

Interesting, you don’t think the committee tells Schumer, who tells Nancy by the minute what’s going on in negotiations? You don’t think Nancy is telling them what they can accept in the House? Shah- I had no idea I was talking with such little children. You guys have no idea what’s going on. You don’t think Trump knows what’s going on either? Grow up
