I accept that and am totally OK with it.

Because you aren't a selfish prick like the OP.

Green Acres is the place to be! Farm living is the life for me!

Perhaps you would prefer Soviet-style collectivization, comrade?

Being a test pilot is also a risky way to make a living.

Test pilots do not generally have millions of dollars invested in the aircraft they are testing. Farmers have an enormous investment in equipment necessary to do what they do. Everyone takes them for granted because we have plenty of food in this country. I sometimes wish people could go hungry for a brief period and maybe then they would appreciate what farmers provide.

Oh, well that's very different from your average small business. Wait; no, it's not.

I have no animosity towards farmers, but get the frick over yourself. You aren't the only person taking a risk to build or produce something.

You sound like you have been living off the taxpayer teat for most of your life. I know many farmers in the Mississippi Delta and they all have CPA’s to file for any and every farm aid program out there, and they are legion. There are so many subsidies and handouts for farmers that you literally have to be a retard to go broke as a farmer.

But what farmers produce is food and fiber. Which is necessary for life. A nation with plenty of food has many problems. A nation without enough food has but one problem.

Read about the Kulaks. Most were farmers.

Fiber is not necessary for human consumption.

So because you’re facing competition because of tariffs (while still getting taxpayer hand outs), you think you’re being treated like a Soviet farmer who were chastised and eventually exterminated?

Price of soybeans is higher now than in Nov 2024

China wants to always but SA soybeans because that’s where their investment is

No, it doesn’t at all.

Ironic you said this in another comment:

Yet you face a competition without artificial assistance from the taxpayers (oh, wait, you’re still getting that) and the American public should starve so you get an ounce of respect? Incredible line of thinking.

I’m not facing shite. I’m not a fricking farmer. If you do see the government start fricking over our farmers though.. might be a bad sign.

Oh big boy is swearing so he must be serious.

Thanks for not addressing my comment whatsoever, though seeming so knowledgeable as such to post some bullshite relating American Ag policy in the 2020s to Soviet era policies.

Let’s give you one more chance to explain your point of view. The floor is yours
