I think he’s had a renaissance since being in office and seeing how petty and shitty it is in DC.

Honestly think he’s just an old school blue collar union Dem.

Is this the sixties? The US sent workers home a long time ago in the steel belt.

What kinds of people work in steel mills? I asked my both children with engineering degrees, both said never, even double their current pays (already 6-figure).

In the ol Democrat days of my past life +30 years ago, I could have smoked a joint and drank a PBR with Festerman, his comments on US steel are more rational than those who turn a blind eye to the selling out of America.

Lately I’m liking this guy better than a lot of RINOs. What the hell.

Weirdest times ever (in my several decades anyway).

Everything essential for surviving a major catastrophe is made overseas or owned by foreign countries. We are completely fricked if they all decided to pull the trigger.

I am definitely becoming a fan. He’s doing more than many Republicans are doing.

What’s wrong with them? I toured a mill I bought a lot of product from once and it was mostly automated.

Other than the heat, probably safer than working in a refinery.

Based on what we’ve seen from Fetterman the past few weeks, the smartest Dem on Capital Hill is the brain damaged one.

I'm not upset with Japan growing stronger. We've occupied Japan for many decades, and some of our politicians are shamelessly bitching about the idea of Japan growing stronger.

Faux outrage.

Just give him a few shekels and he will go away like all those swamp creatures do.

If you think about it from an economic standpoint in the electronic revolution in the 1960’s, 70’s, and 80’s, before China took over, Japan and U.S. were joined at the hip in manufacturing electronics. As Japanese companies expanded, they purchased US businesses and real estate as they grew in wealth. Now with China taking most their production, stagflation has hit their economy and they are shrinking in population so they are further looking to expand globally.

Meh, Im not buying it.

He's likely not the deciding vote on the matter, so they let him get a little lip service in so he can get some blue collar street cred. If he was a critical vote on this, he would get in line as instructed.

He won't do shite to stop this other than a few photo ops with his fake work attire.
