FBI took everything from Micheal Cohen's office & home and the Set-up of Michael Cohen

This looks like they are setting up Michael Cohen using the Judicial process to force him to waive his 5th Amendment Rights which would then force Stormy Daniels to testify against Cohen. It is the only reason that she and Michael Avenatti would be at this hearing.
Judge Wood had ordered that Cohen come to court with a full list of his clients.
His court filing said that all his records had been seized by federal agents and he was unable to search any of them himself.

Avenatti tweeted on Friday: 'The Hon Kimba Wood’s order directing Mr. Cohen to appear in person on Monday at 2 pm to potentially answer questions from her could be a problem if he intends on taking the 5th. I checked and the weather forecast for Mon looks very Stormy... #basta.'"

It's a squeeze on Cohen to get him to agree to an immunity deal for him to spill on Trump, and also to data mine his records in order to attack Trump.
Dershowitz is on point when he says A-C privilege is about the client, not the attorney. Trump needs his attorney to go HAM on this. I'm surprised the ABA hasn't filed anything.

Cohen now knows what it feels like to be a political enemy of The Police Staat.
They got everything. All of his client interview recordings. All of his bank records.
They will comb through it all in order to find any crime or ethical irregularity.
I don't see how they can fail to find something, even if it's just Cohen bragging about running a Stop Sign five years ago.
It's SO obvious that they aren't taking any risks that some Outsider might de-rail the Trillion Dollar Wash DC Establishment Gravy Train.

Trump can only pardon federal crimes. I believe the taxi medallions would be a NY case and I would guess that NY has statutes that relate to bank fraud. This would take Cohen out of a pardon.
Also - with all the stuff they took, most likely they'll find something. The book, 'Three Felonies a Day' wasn't written as a LARP.

A Russian oligarch owns the vast majority of Taxi Medallions in New York, Evgeny Freidman. I suspect this is what Mueller's Russian investigation is going to use to justify the referral over to the NY DOJ/FBI office.

If he's an attorney and people pay him for his legal opinions or any legal work whatsoever and he is a member of the bar licensed to practice law in New York or wherever, then he's an attorney and as such the privilege stands. If Wood rules against him then you'll know the fix is in.

Yeah, small stakes today - will there or won't there be a special master I think is the crux of it? Agree - Manafort trials (E. VA and D.C.) will be lit.

Yeah. Also who is the special master? I think Cohen might be forced to answer some questions. There is a potential he will be held in contempt of court if he refuses to answer them, which would be fricking epic.
