Well, from a legal perspective, I cannot see that it matters all that much, unless it matters one whole hell of a lot.
If Hannity was a client, that could mean several things. From a tabloid perspective, it could mean that Hannity used Cohen as a "fixer" to pay someone off on his behalf, the way Trump is alleged to have paid off Stormy Daniels. That would mean that Hannity may have let his freedom ring in some way he does not want to be known. This is pure, wild arse speculation, but there is some reason Hannity hired him and some reason Hannity did not want it to be known.
From a legal perspective, it is at least possible that Hannity was involved in the money chain with getting Stormy Daniels paid.
