Again, the Democrats have nothing of substance on Trump.

This is what they are relegated to, FIFA call and reflecting pool.

With stupidity that blatant, it's no wonder the Socialists are taking over the DNC.

Trump has everybody talking about the WC. This will probably be the most watched game in history.

My question is if the whole world hates Trump, why would they not take the opportunity to say no and claim he tried to pressure them to change the call. What a great opportunity to humiliate the person they supposedly

Because they are making record profits on this World Cup that is blowing the money from all previous world cups out of the water

I would be willing to bet a lot of money that the leaders of major soccer nations have made calls to FIFA in the past...people act like this never happens

Yeah I cannot think of a case like this, red card being overturned, if it has happened

i decided to google and 60 years ago they reversed a red card and ronaldo had one reversed 16 years ago...my point was i am sure presidents/world leaders have tried to get calls overturned before. IDK why anyone would hate Trump for trying to influence them to make the right call.

It wasn’t overturned I don’t believe…just suspended for probationary type period.

And good for Trump for standing up for his country. Jesus…isn’t this what a president should do? We didn’t become a country by asking permission and being polite. If Trump threw his weight around to right a wrong, then I say hell yeah.

I am a soccer fan and have no problem with it. It was a bullshite red to begin with.

I know the basics of soccer, but not a hardcore fan.
Looking at it regular speed, it looked like two guys were fairly competing for positioning, they collided in a way that knocked both of them a bit off balance -- then Bolagun landed in a straight up-and down manner.....like he did nothing to adjust or alter his landing spot to clip the opponent.

It seemed like unfortunate contact that was not avoidable by either guy.

It would really suck to lose after all of this. I hope Trump considered that.

Wow, that is quite the loser mindset you have there.

What if Trump didn't do anything, and the red card stayed and we lost? Does that help you feel better, little girl?

The VAR ref mad it look corrupt as hell by not following the rules for reviewing VAR

The announcers during the game all agreed he shouldn't have got the red card. A bad call was properly reversed. I don't know why the fuss. Just kidding, I do know why.

The fact that there was no original call on the field. When the VAR ask the on field ref to review the play, they in fact broke the rules of the game by reviewing the play. So there is that.

Jesus you werent kidding. I stupidly went to the ESPN homepage and they have a whole section of articles dedicated to how Americans need to be ashamed of this FIFA decision. What a crock of BS.
