Never enter a chain restaurant within 1 hour of closing.
Never.
Never.

There is a chic fil a right outside my neighborhood approximately 30 to 45 seconds from my house. The amount of times a day I see their delivery vehicles driving through my neighborhood is ridiculous. People have reached a level of lazy where even a 30 second drive is inconvenient.

It's not about what they can or can't do. Anybody can go to a store and buy canned vegetables, rice, chicken. People who are vision or hearing impaired do it daily by using city buses or ride services or walking.
They just want to act like they have too much other shite going on to have the time or ability to do it.

Even if you're lazy there's still stuff like cereal and cold cut sandwiches that take all of 45 seconds to put together. Thats what I did when I was younger and lived alone. Nobody needs to be spending $20+ for delivery meals.

This stuff is pretty expensive isn’t it? I know my sister in law on my wife’s side uses it a lot and she’s a degenerate.

"Poor" here is code for certain people. If their laziness and shite habits are criticized, or if subsidizing those shite habits and choices is threatened to be removed... boom! "Human rights issue," and "racist."
Dem da' rulez.

The prices for menu items isn’t typically inflated in my experience using Uber Eats while on the road occasionally after arriving late to a hotel.
But there can be extra delivery charges and tip for the driver.
Every time I do it I regret it. They forget stuff. Don’t read the notes and the food is obviously never hot.
Poor people shouldn’t be using them at all.

They don't have the capacity to make a sandwich or start a crockpot, but they have the capacity to vote (if they don't have to show an ID, because they don't have the capacity to get one).
They don't have the capacity to operate a microwave, but they can navigate DoorDash, Reddit and TikTok.
They don't have to capacity to boil water or turn on an oven, but they have the capacity to lecture older generations about how the world should operate.
Seems legit.

I wish I had this as an option. Hell, forget the drive or delivery. Is there a crosswalk. If you don't have to sprint through several lanes of traffic, they could walk over there.

I get that. Even when I go on vacation and get fast food I go get it. I’m pretty sketch of my food going in someone’s nasty car especially after the whole thing with people licking ice cream awhile back in stores. Same goes for pizza I just go get it.

The Boomers used up all the recipes. There's nothing left.

I love how they jump immediately to 'their time is expensive'.
It's amazing how much time opens up when you put down the cell phone & turn off the computer. As much as I love TD, it sucks a lot of time away too.
It's fun having a 5 paragraph argument with a stranger, but sometimes a break is the best thing you can do. Would love to see how well these kids could cook after a 2 week social media fast

If they're too dumb to learn to cook, I say they're incompetent to be entrusted with voting privileges.

Absolutely! When the old people die.. everyone will have nice things, cheap houses, three day work weeks, gourmet meals on demand, empty prisons, free college, cheap healthcare with no wait....
It's funny that Gen Z has no time to do basic life sustaining things... but Instagram, TicTok, Facebook, X, Snapchat, YouTube, etc has millions of new videos each day of people either ranting or shouting "look at meeeeee!!!"

That's funny, because Uber Eats/DD take about a 30% cut of the menu price. The bigger the chain (Popeyes, McDonalds, etc.) the smaller the negotiated cut, but local places absolutely have menu prices through delivery apps at least 20% higher than ordering it for pickup. Multiple restaurants near me will charge $30 for an $18 entree, but then make it two for one.
