Doubtful he would have won. He would not have had the turnout that Hillary did because he offered nothing new or inspiring. Hillary had the "history" narrative that Obama had but Obama was more likable. Biden is popular because he didn't have any real responsibility as far as the voters are concerned.

We just elected Donald Trump.

You may want to reconsider this thesis.

How much of Trump's win was attributed to hate for Hillary? Could Biden have made a difference or was his attachment to Obama too strong?

Rational responses please.

That's a damn good question.

I think he would have, albeit narrowly. His negatives would vanish opposite a guy like trump.

That said, I don't think he'd have a chance against incumbent Trump, as long as Trump hits a few more marks, mainly Obamafail repeal and breaking ground on the wall.

The lack of self awareness in this post is hilarious.

Yes, but it would have been close.

Hillary was a terrible candidate.

Democratic leadership thought Hillary Clinton was more electable than Joe Biden, because he wrote the 1994 Crime Bill (under and encouraged by President Clinton) Apparently serving underneath the first black president for 8 years wasn't enough to make that up?

If they didn't suck so much dick on their way to the top, maybe their leadership would still have some basic political street smarts to not trot out Hillary Clinton? They could have literally pulled 5 random people off the streets of Baltimore, and those people would have given them the correct answer on Dem electability.

Either the leadership was politically stupid on a historic level, or professionally compromised to the point of no return on a historic level. They absolutely reaped what they sowed.

Yes.
I don't see Biden losing any state Hillary won.
There is virtually no way Biden would have lost PA.

So it boils down to whether Trump could have beaten Biden in MI and WI or IA.
IMO Biden would have taken MI/WI.

Put another way, Comey cost the Dems the election in July, not October.

Roll Tide, you give the average American too much credit of actually making an informed choice. The retards voted in Obama twice so Biden would have probably beaten Trump even with is insane laughing.Remember, the average American has the I Q of a plumb!

I remember when Biden ran in 1988 and 2008. He was considered a joke candidate and dropped out both times because of weak or lackluster support. Now he is considered their savior.

Trump was considered a joke in 2016 and he won. Biden wins because of Penn, Ohio, Wisc and Indy. Plus African Americans and blue collar union voters would have turned out for Biden.

Do you realize how unpopular those two things are with the general public. The Obamacare replacement is around 17% approval and the wall isn't much better.

And Biden would have beaten Trump easily and anyone who doesn't think so is blinded by their love for Trump.

Trump's campaign schedule was grueling and he did maintain a focus on issues.

It's not Obama; it's his OPEN BORDER/Subsidies to Illegals Policy that has driven the Rust Belt out of their fold. Jesus Christ couldn't win packing that dead albatross around His neck.

I think Biden would have beaten Trump.

HRC fricked herself with the "basket of deplorables" remark.

This is a good point, RH. I remember predicting a Trump win on the basis that he'd get at least a 10% bump via the 'low info' voter...because of his Celebrity. Probably did. Or more.

Welcome.

No

Trump would have beat Biden. A lot of average joes voted for Trump because they are not happy with what Obama has done. Hillary was able to atleast play the women card . Right now both parties seem to be divided .
