Always possible with that bunch …but then again this was a pretty resounding repudiation of Leftist progressive policies so it’s not like they can point to “the people not having a voice” or any similar bullshite this time.
Just might be one of those brief wonderful respites where they have simply had their yaps shut (except for the most brainless continuing to wail on MSNBC for the small Blue Jonestown crowd)

Honestly, I think they're all a little scared and calculating their moves. Trump has the trifecta now, and I'm not sure any who have hopes of continued political careers want to rock that boat. I could be wrong, of course.

Dems have been neutered. It’s done. They are over.

It's always a possibilty.

Friends and family have been mentioning they think top dems have too easily rolled over and taken the L. They think closer to inauguration we may see funny business. Like Kamala taking over, doing something that causes riots like not certifying election, and then enacting martial law.
I don’t see this as a possible outcome but curious on y’all’s thoughts.
It is possible but I think there is some truth to make it too big to steal. The win was beyond the reach of them doing any frickery. Winning all of the battle ground states and winning the popular gives them no path it cuts them off at the knees.

Raskin has already told us what he’s going to try and do.

They haven’t reached the anger stage of grief yet. Still in shock/denial

Anyone with a brain could take a step back and objectively see that Kamala was a terrible candidate. Dropped out of 2020 before December 2019 was over. Never made it to Iowa. Didn't get a single delegate, lost to her rivals in her own state.
She had none of the resume' that Hillary had, and it showed.
Cut through all the campaign rhetoric and hoopla, the sloganeering and PR spin, Kamala has never had any detinning political moment in her entire career.
The Dems were playing with house money and figured keeping her was worth it, even if she lost 2024. They're playing the long game.
And if they really are trying something nefarious, after Trump just won the popular vote (which is all the Dems beat their chest about) then they really are dumber than I thought.

They got skull fricked yesterday
They have no idea what's going on because the only thing in their arsenal got swatted down like a pecker gnat.
Will they regroup, yes. They'll fire some shite a week or so and have their minions doing their bidding again.

Trump won the popular vote and took all their ammo away. Basically Dims were spayed and neutered on 11/5-6/2024.

In their wildest dreams they never pictured getting the hell beat out of them. They are quiet because they are in shock and everything they thought was correct they now know was a lie and so now there isn't any substance to hang on to.

they're NOT just going to say "aw shucks" and roll over - there's still trouble on the road ahead

Don't be so paranoid enjoy the maga win.

The electoral rust belt sweep and winning the Popular Vote absolutely depleted their fuel reserves.
They can't say "he cheated" or "muh popular vote". It took away every secondary and tertiary talking point they had. This defeat was so resounding and crushing that they don't know up from down right now. They were already saying "when the AZ and NV totals come in, we'll win!", and then Trump just outright won without even needing AZ or NV. He literally broke them with this victory.
Don't worry, they'll figure it out. They're already starting to begin their melts and exaggerated histrionics on social media everywhere, though it was certainly a delayed response.

I think it’s more likely that they’re being quiet because they just got their asses kicked. Now they have to deal with the return of Trump and the prospect that Republicans will totally control Congress.

I think it is just due to popular vote. They have nothing right now.
They know they are on empty.
They are picking their battles, and they know this is not one they want.

Do you remember that episode of Sopranos where Chris was drunk at the Bing And everybody is having a great time then he has a moment of clarity. He realizes that they are actually laughing AT him and he gets really upset?
