Does anyone have any positive things to say about Islam?

It really does appear that their main goal is to spread, conquer, and enforce their own laws. I can't think of any nice Islamic countries, and a lot of them seem to be taken over by extremists. I'm not trying to just rag on muslims, I just want to know through facts, insight, or experience if they can really be compatible on a large scale with western values and culture.

Our culture and values are incompatible with Islam, plain and simple. I don't understand why we keep thinking that we can work with them. Especially Shia Islam. We will never have a true peace agreement with the Iranian fundamentalist government because they would much rather die than work with infidels.

A LOT of guys on here should love elements of Islam. For example, tons of posters object to women holding political office.
