I will give you two, muslim countries have low levels of crime, and their women they shut the frick up.

This is the truth. Their food is frickin outstanding. People who haven't tried it don't know what they're missing. Lebanese food is some of the best to be found anywhere on Earth, imo.

I was going to say that today in the Dearborn thread.
There is a SirWinston take that they are actually based -- traditional values, keep women in check, don't love LGBT world, etc. But, it's hard to get around the violence.

It's really just any vertical spit roasted meat. That practice began in Lebanon and the Greeks eventually picked it up for gyros. Either way it's frickin good. Gyros are great and flatbread wrapped meat with pickles is frickin amazing too.

It really does appear that their main goal is to spread, conquer, and enforce their own laws.

Prior to Islam, the Mideast was a leading source of innovation. Islam ended that and froze it rigidly in time.

There is a great Lebanese restaurant on the corner of 27th Street and 5th Ave in Manhattan. Expensive, but a tasty class act.

There's a good one not far from where I live as well. It's about my favorite eatery around outside my favorite barbeque joint. It's hard to go wrong with shawarma, tabbouleh, and some boba ganoush.

It seems like it's the perfect religion if you want to exert complete and total control over every aspect of a person's life. Clearly that's why the left has chosen it as their pet faith.
