Gavin won't last. He keeps his throne primarily by a complicit CA media, he won't get nearly enough of that on the national stage due to CA's failings being so large and often that the flight out of the state has impacted just about every other state in the nation. Outside of CA, he's a paper tiger.

Kamala and Mayor Pete are DOA as both ooze with "a bridesmaid but never a bride" feel. She has run for her party's nomination twice and hasn't won a single delegate, even from her home state. Meanwhile, Pete's mainly known as some guy who did... something (most voters don't really know what) while also coming across as a perennial try-too-hard.

Ro Khanna might run, but he would then risk exposing that his "family" (wife, kids, etc) have all somehow made such miraculous stock picks that it could warrant investigation. I don't think he wants that sort of scrutiny.

AOC will likely be the DSA darling and the news media will love her, but they'll also love the circus atmosphere of the crazy shite the DSA tries to push as sensible stances the Democratic candidate should be taking.

Mark Kelly might be a news media darling because he was "brave and courageous" enough to stand up to Hitl.. I mean Trump, by telling troops they have the legal right to ignore or refuse illegal orders (ie: he was engaged in might be considered an attempt at a soft rebellion by implying troops should expand what they might consider illegal).

Jon Ossoff is on that same level of Mark Kelly, but without the video shenanigans. There have been some allegations about Chinese ties, but those have not had enough concrete info to go anywhere (and I don't think most voters care about it, at least not today).
