The GOP has some great governors in the states

But the GOP can’t get stuff done in Congress except for one big beautiful bill which wasn’t much

That is why the uniparty always wins. The uniparty only needs about 1/3 to half of the GOP to have full control because they completely own the left side.

Many of us have been saying since a few months into Trump’s term that nothing is going to happen in reference to all of the things that we were told would happen. Trump’s own party shite on him and us in favor of the swamp establishment.

Many here were called names for saying that, but when you ride in with control of all three branches and effectively do nothing, you deserve last night’s results. Last night something finally happened.

They have done it twice now, really fricking unbelievable to expect the people to keep giving them chances.

SAVE Act would not have SAVED Republicans last night. Other than that and the Big Beautiful, there was nothing else Trump wanted them to do and nothing else they wanted to do.They and MAGA were happy to have him run stuff by Executive Order.

Would agree on the US Attorney thing. President is entitled to his nominees.....any President

SAVE Act? If America really wanted the SAVE Act the only way to pass it would have been to vote in a GOP Senate that could withstand the Filibuster. Americans are not going to do that for a long time.

So, the SAVE Act could not get past the Filibuster, so the GOP never bothered to make the Dems filibuster it.

But I agree that the GOP failed to do much to garner the faith of the voters, especially in light of the fact that should be clear to everybody that the USA itself is trending Left, and has been for a long time.

This is going to be a very Leftist nation-state inside of 100 years. I don't know what that will look like, but, I'm sure that most will look for somebody to blame for all of the problems that are sure to arise. Leftism always causes problems and Leftism always needs scapegoats.

Good fricking riddance

At the end of the day, if you want to blame it on anything... It's this. It's all this.

I'd say they learned their lesson for next time but I won't hold my breath.

LOL even countries in South American can't lean left for more than 10 years these days. We are just going to be on a ping pong ride for awhile.

Really? They got what they wanted. I dont think they learned any lessons. It is the voters that need to learn the lesson and primary the corrupt ones out.

Honestly, this is true. Now we get to see them yelling on TV on Fox in the house rotunda. "IT'S THESE DEMOCRATS, YOU SEE?! IF ONLY WE HAD THE POWER..."

Lol yeah right. Sure. We'll get right on that.

We will see.

I suspect that the Democrats have some ideas that tend to be anti-democratic that might make it more easy for them to control election outcomes to the extent that the ability of the American people to vote their way back out of Leftism will be diminished.

Leftism is very aware of the necessity of finding the means to firmly hold power once power is consolidated.

Eric Holder told his minions that "this is not the time to be timid" and I think I know what he's talking about.

Given last night’s result, you think Republicans should have aligned more with Trump?

Would disagree on this becoming a leftist nation. The US has some progressive bents but we won't come anywhere near the socialist tendencies of Western Europe.

The problem with Republicans was that they allowed the populist crazies to get the platform inside of the party because they were so desperate for a win after what amounted to 10 years of Obama.....the populist are at once quite socialist while masquerading as conservatives......and then they enthusiastically nominated dicks for Congress in key places like Texas and GA over the years.

Nominate dices, you get fukked.
