Good fricking riddance

You cannot sit on your hands for 2 years passing no legislation, conjuring up excuses at every turn and not confirming nominees and expect to remain in power.

When the dems win they vote through their agenda

Republicans have always been a bunch of pussies. They always squander power every chance they get.

We say this every single time

People are finally voting that way

Republicans are spineless liars
Democrats are motivated liars

They both serve special interests that don’t serve the people

Amen. No POTUS has ever had his own frickin party refuse to ratify his judges and now Trump wont get any ratified at all I suppose. And the gutless slobs wouldn't even vote on bills in the Senate that had passed the House. When you have zero record to run on its going to be hard to get reelected.

They are the ones to blame. I don't think they codified any of Trump's policies into law. A waste of two years. Remember this in two years if anyone that has been your congressperson is still in office then. We need a whole reset there.

I suspect the establishment repubs plan was to lose control of the house and senate but believed the numbers would be close enough that Dems would still need their help. Instead it backfired and they underestimated the backlash.

He carried water for the Democrats until the midterms.

They definitely wanted to lose control of congress and they got what they wanted. Once they are irrelevant in a couple months they can go back to pretending they are fired up about saving America, blah blah blah.

Republicans want to be bipartisan and work with Democrats. Democrats want to defeat and destroy Republicans. Democrats want a one party state.

I think you nailed the plan, and the arrogance that they could control it.

Most really truly won’t care, they’ll get reelected and continue to swill at the trough.

Republicans should meet, close and lock the doors.

Kick every leader in the butt and throw them out the door. There is no leadership…….

Time to change the hands on the clock.

Trump aside, I feel like republicans didnt leverage the post covid voting loopholes (agree or disagree with them) the way dems do. Dems are bussing, canvassing, collecting and muling for weeks while republicans hope people show up and vote on election day. The registrations were there to win it all, they just didnt get proactive about collecting the votes. Its especially grating considering they refused to pass SAVE.

But MAGA wanted rule by EO. It got so many of you hot and wet and told the Republican Congress you were more than happy to have them not attempt to legislate and only worry about the game of politics.

Put the fricking pipe down. There are a mountain of threads on this board screaming at Congress to pass things like the SAVE Act which is supported by 80 percent of the population. We’ve screamed at them about confirmation nominations for 2 years now. When I described them as do nothing in the OP, it wasn’t a metaphor. They have literally done nothing. We are still waiting on confirmation votes for US attorneys but instead a new one has to be subbed in every few months because there is a running clock. Can’t get any recess appointments either because the republicans have refused to adjourn for 2 years now.. Without EO’s the president might as well stick his thumb up his arse like Congress has.

That was a necessary evil because Congress and the Senate actively fought against passing anything that Trump ran on.

I’ve never seen anything like it. It definitely exposed the Uniparty that is DC.

Now, the GOP can go back to being the Washington Generals
