Google AI
Yeah Google AI has to be an unbiased source of information.

We have (intentionally) horrible data on both the numerator and denominator in this equation.
We have very poor data on how many illegals are in the country, and we don’t collect data on the immigration status of most criminal arrestees.
Also, all AI bots are notoriously pro-Progressive on any political topic.

No one knows since immigration status is only recorded in Texas and no other state.
OP is lying. This is the correct answer. Also Vacherie Saint is correct as well. One thing the libs always leave out are costs associated with helping illegal immigrants. It’s very expensive and a drain on our state and local governments to care for these people. I would ask the OP and any liberal, who puts more strain on our economy middle class and upper class Americans or illegal immigrants and newly legal immigrants? Middle class and upper class Americans subsidize all of these programs and services.

A lot of these people come from places where what we think of as crime is every day life. and survival.
One of the main reasons they need to go home.

So a US citizen is twice as likely to commit a violent crime or property crime than an illegal.
Leftist groups who want more immigration have constructed studies to show that illegals commit less crime than native Americans.
Whether that's actually true or not hasn't been established.

I absolutely LOVE how these studies ignore the fact that 100% of illegal immigrants have committed a crime by being in the US.
Yep. But the pro-mass migration crowd doesn’t like immigration laws so they just pretend it doesn’t exist.

no, they have too much to risk so probably stay out of trouble.
Hard to catch someone not on any databases.
I have a social security number, a passport, state ID. America knows my height, weight, previous addresses, even my god damn eye color. If I commit a crime its a lot easier to identify/find me than it is to identify/find Juan Hernandez who crossed the border 5 years ago and law enforcement doesn't even know he exists or if thats even his real name.

Illegals commit a crime every day by being here. 365 a year.

Do Illegals commit more crimes by percentage than US Citizens?
If keeping a violent illegal out saves one life, prevents human trafficking, and spares a another rape, then it's worth it.
Then you can allocate more resources to US citizens.

If legal citizens commit crimes at twice the rate of illegal immigrants, are you telling us we can lower the crime rate by 1/3 by simply deporting the illegals?
I like the way you think. Let’s do it.

This really common sense… yes Americans commit more crimes in America than (fill in the blank) in America
So what?

This is 100% false

The issue is crimes committed after establishing residency in the U.S.
That’s what the fear mongering is all about…

bullshite.
Illegals have a 100% criminal offense rate just by being here.
Add to that identity theft for many of them, as well as tax fraud, and they're already way above native borns before you even get to:
DWIs
Hit and runs
Sexual assault
Murder/attempted murder

No, the issue is you are still here being intentionally dishonest. Why are you being dishonest?

He is a leftist. He does not care. He absolutely hates you, so the fact that you notice brings him joy.

Another issue is actually how you define “crime”. As already noted, crossing into the U.S. illegally, or overstaying a visa, is a crime.
But you have to look into the actual data sets of liberal social science very carefully.
For example, DUI’s are almost assuredly higher per capita with illegal aliens but that’s usually not captured in their “crime stats”. Same with all misdemeanors (theft, simple battery, etc.).
Also, are they using conviction data or arrest data? The rate of non-appearance at court with illegals is very high.

Vacherie, you’re missing the point and what this fact means in the context of Trump’s stated policy objective…
Are you arguing for all illegals to stay because they commit crimes a fewer number of crimes in total as compared to citizens?
Posted on 8/8/26 at 12:36 pm to CrimsonFever
Them being here illegally is a crime, DA! So yes, 100% of illegals commit crimes.
Posted on 8/8/26 at 2:47 pm to UtahCajun
There's no dishonesty on my part. The claim has been that undocumented aliens are commiting a disproportionate number of crimes once they're here, and the
facts contradict that claim...
