many on this forum believed it would be a Trump/DeSantis ticket in 2024,

Like who? That was never feasible politically and carried zero upside for DeSantis.

I’m voting R unless Trump is on the ticket.

LOL It ain't gonna happen. But, I've always said I will listen to what the other candidates have to say.

Same thing could be said re Trump or DeSantis having strokes or heart attacks. I guess I should start a post "Always Trumpers, If Trump has a stroke and is as disabled as Fetterman, will you still vote for him?" ... you can answer that.

You need to pay attention more or improve your site reading comprehension, because there are way more TDS ridden ronbots on here that have gleefully admitted they will smile "when" Trump loses the general...while sitting the election out themselves, so they can come in here and tell the Trumpkins "I told you so".

I don't remember names as well as remember the emblem next to them.

Heck there are 2 in this thread that would probably fit my description. Wouldnt be surprised if your gimp TDS arse fits the description too.

There is no rule/law that prohibits that.

I know people think there is, but they're mistaken.

It's not prohibited. Correct.

That doesn't mean it's not consequential. The Electoral College electors cast 1 vote for president and 1 vote for vice president. They cannot cast both votes for candidates from their home state. That means that on a theoretical Trump/DeSantis ticket, it's possible that Trump would win the presidency but DeSantis wouldn't have enough votes to win the vice presidency, in which case the Senate would have to vote for the vice presidency (or, alternatively, the EC votes for DeSantis and the House of Representatives would have to vote for the presidency).

this has been my prayer for a ticket for over two years now.

And especially with the understanding that Trump would spend 2 years cleaning house and then turn the last 2 years over to Ron, while he goes off to his well-desereved old age retirement.

Gives Ron a chance for a 10 year tenure.

Been wanting this from day 1 - which is why it makes me so sad to think they may end up trying to destroy each other.

IF they could team up and run together as a team with an outlined program for the people to support

It can't be. They both have FL as a home state.

That's easily fixed. Trump has property in lots of places.
