You have more faith than I do that Democrats won’t fully rig every election they can if they’re able to assume that much power. The party of political violence will do whatever it takes to stay in power.

Just remember that prior to election day they campaign on affordability, but as soon as the elections ended, they immediately threatened political opposition with jail

Hopefully. Because we need a sacrificial lamb and it absolutely should be someone from the tainted current admin.

To play devil's advocate, 2028 will likely be another Wipeout. If that appears to be the case, it's better to let Vance be the sacrificial lamb and have the head cut off the snake. Then, hope the party nominates serious candidates and flips some Senate seats in 2030, and then if the GOP can get end 2030 with at least 44 Seats, run in 2032 so you can lead a red wave and help R Senate candidates flip AK, IA, KS, MS, OH, SC for starters. That would bring the GOP back to 50. If the Dem President sucks then Freako will be in trouble in TX.

This is objectively correct.

It feels very unlikely any R will win in 2028, even if a lot can change in 2 years. Trump looked dead in politics in 2022

Let Vance be the absolute death of the past decade of populism on the right and the maga stuff. Its gone

They’re barking seals who root for their guy like a football team dude. Policy means nothing if they can own someone on a message board.

Trump knew who his biggest challenger would be and went ultra ultra scorched earth against him early and often. He has admitted as much out loud that he went much much lower than he has against virtually everyone. Trump told them to hate so they did.

Most people have gotten over 2024 and saw through all of the nonsense vitriol

What exactly did the cultists do to Georgia?

MAGA heroes Lin Wood and Sidney Powell, along with Trump, paved the way for the runoff losses in 2020. Since then the MAGAtards have gained more and more power in the state GOP.

Of course they hate Kemp because they were told to

I just really don’t think some of you understand the ramifications here. You say Vance fall the sword because it’s going to be very difficult to win the presidency, but that would mean Democrats would control both chambers and the White House.

Congratulations we now have a packed Supreme Court who will now strip away the constitution peace by peace. They will take away the electoral college and the only chance of us remaining a two party system is if the socialist break away from the Democrats to start their own party.

I dont know what's gong to be worse over the next 2 to 4 years. Democrats or DeSantis people.

We're pissed because this was all preventable. Unless you are retarded, it was very clear to see what would happen if Trump was the 2024 nominee. There were 2 scenarios.

1. He loses
2. He wins but the celebration would be short-lived because he'd frick things up and we'd get wiped out in 2026

Make no mistake about it, we're not happy. In fact, we're angrier than you and your fellow MAGA brethren because we know what's in store for the next few years. We're pissed because we had a golden opportunity to crush the left, long-term, starting in 2024. We wasted that opportunity by nominating Trump. Not only that, but if there was no Trump, clowns like Kari Lake-Abrams wouldn't have been nominated and lost winnable seats, preventing us from stacking seats. Trump didn't have coattails, he didn't do enough to help down-ballot R's, and quite a few of his supporters voted for him and then either blanked the remainder of their ballots or crossed over. That wouldn't have happened if DeSantis was he nominee. Tuesday night also wouldn't have happened if DeSantis was President.

I understand the implications.

Ron is not a pussy so against what I think is probably smart, he is almost certainly going to run. I bet some other candidates of note will to

Do you think most of us WANT to lose in 2028? I know the stakes. And I will vote for Vance with gusto even if I think he sucks.

I just think, at the moment, it looks like the electorate is telling us they want MAGA dead and buried, and the Rs have a 4-8 year at best uphill battle

They did it because at the top of the agenda if he won was to squeeze as much money out of a second term as possible. They haven't even tried to hide it.

Have you listened to DeSantis speak since Tuesday? From everything I've heard out of him, he seems to be pinning a big part, if not most, of the blame on the useless Republican Congress.

If you think that Congress would’ve treated Ron any differently you’re retarded. That’s the problem moving forward and it just got worse.

It's likely to be another L no matter what. The only hope may be gaining some House seats because the Senate map is very difficult for Rs in '28

The vast majority do and did. The retarded wing of MAGA are the ones addicted to the Twitter algorithms and really aren’t interested in much beyond dopamine hits they receive from the content they consume while “owning the libs”.

They viewed DeSantis as a threat to that.

Trumps positives and negatives are the exact opposite of Desantis

He is an amazing personality, a hilarious guy, and an all time great campaigner.

He could not fricking govern to save his life. He couldn't govern in SimCity. He does not care about boring things like aggressively pursuing getting bills passed

Ron is the exact opposite. The only problem is the first one gets you elected, the 2nd one gets you re-elected

The difference, that we can't seem to get through to you people, is that Ron knows what he is doing in that regard. He knows how to work with other politicians, with legislators, etc. He knows how to leverage his OWN power to work towards his goals

Trump doesn't know how to do any of that and couldn't care less about it

They are opposites in many ways.
