Can DeSantis win nationally? He has been a helluva Governor but looked completely lost when running for President. Which was quite surprising.

And if he had won with Miriams money then he would have also attacked Iran

I would think Ron is smart enough not to get suckered by Lindsey Graham, BiBi, and Jared Kushner into believing Iran was a month away from having nuke……just like they have been for the last 25 years

I'm not even joking. Funny considering how things shook out.

After he left the primaries and got back to work I watched. He didn’t let the president stuff affect him and executed his goals for his state. Pretty much the only governor who did this in our entire country. He has no fraud baggage outside those shoes he wears.

And the best man for the job. Unfortunately tCult couldn’t get past their obsession and has cost us the country.

Beautiful. Part of the stay at home crowd is blaming “tCult” for the losses him and his ilk caused.

Same as Ron, I don't think he would do well in the rust belt

Well the GOP/MAGA just trotted out Vivek Ramaswamy for Ohio so something’s got to change

I do love that you also conveniently leave out his years of military service, or better yet try to denigrate that as a "piss collector".

I didn't say anything negative about his military service. You know... As a JAG/lawyer. But either way.

Secondly, I also don't want to take anything away from him as a governor. But before you say he's the greatest governor of literally all time, he inherited a pretty good situation from former governor Rick Scott. When Scott took office in 2011, Florida had an unemployment rate ot 11.1%. When Scott left office in 2019, it was at 3.3%. Scott also added about 1.67 million jobs during his 2 terms, achieved AAA ratings from all 3 major credit-rating agencies for the first time in Florida's history, and literally left Ron a budget surplus of $5.4 billion.

I liked Ron before he did the dumbest thing ever, running in a primary against Trump. It was embarrassingly stupid, and I think he paid a pretty big price for it. Hopefully he's learned from this mistake, and bides his time before throwing his hat back in the ring again.

An aside though. I doubt you remember but I gleefully took you to task during that entire Ron run back in the 2024 primaries. You eventually recognized that it was very, very stupid to take Trump on at the likely behest of the GOPe cheering Ron on from the sidelines. All the Bushes, the Cheneys, Paul Ryan, Karl Rove... big fans. To be brutally honest, many of these folks have probably had their knives in the back of MAGA the entire time.

If JD Vance runs, he WILL get the nomination. I need to set it on my calendar to come make fun of you again. If Ron reads the room, he may live to fight another day. But if he comes out against Vance, then this time, his political career will most certainly, finally be over.

I hope he does. JD's only value at this point is to take the beating that's coming in '28. After that he can hang out with his buddy Tucker in Maine

As long as MAGA exists we are at war.

When MAGA goes away, when trump and everyone related to him dues horrible, screeching deaths, and there heirs die too, we can have peace.

Until then, frick off and frick you.

I’m not from Texas and I voted. You should probably hit up the people on here who have posted they voted for the Dems or didn’t vote.
