I was going to vote for him had he stayed in the race.
But his campaign was terrible. He also comes off as whiny. I don't mind it because he is the best Governor in the country and has been. But it is hard for me to see him winning the nomination given how poorly his performed in 2024.

I'm not going to call out any specific posters, but the vitriol i got in 24 about supporting DeSantis from the cult was bizarre. The cult was deeply entrenched on this board for sure.

He’s awesome at actually being an executive, but not good at “playing politician” - at least from what I saw in the 2024 primary. It’s too bad, because that’s actually the traits of someone who you should want to lead.
