At the end of the day though, this is so stupid. Supreme Court should just come in and say we aren't drawing districts anymore and here is the new way
Can't. Who's to say they were drawn correctly to begin with? You can't just blanket cover a ruling and say "never again"
But I completely understand why this is a big problem.
fricking liberal socialist ruin ALL things they govern, until they take all of your shite, then they collapse

California's map was in response to Texas's redistricting. I don't think "Democrats" created that gerrymandered Texas map.
Dems have done this crap for decades... Republicans are starting to go hard at it also. GO take a look at some Dem states and compare them to Rep states.. It is a joke what they have done.

Desantis should have one of the Dem districts drawn out like dickbutt

Stupid constitutes ignorant or unknowing. I would say his the statement was disingenuous in its intent, to make it look like Republicans started the gerrymandering game. Whoever started it, Democrats perfected and wrote the manual on it.

DeSantis will go down as one of the best FL governors in decades. He’s the reason why they’ve gained so much population since post-COVID.

Changes to the VRA in the early 80’s set off a firestorm of dem gerrymandering and it’s been going on ever since. Blaming Texas makes you a Newsome mouthpiece.

I thought we were talking about gerrymandering.
If you want to have a discussion about the VRA, that's something else.

Don’t be a pivoting irrelevant smoothbrain! Didn’t you know Texas invented gerrymandering in 2025!?!!?

Now do Ohio, Michigan, Massachussetts, Illinois, New York, Louisiana's "black" district, etc...

I wonder how the movement of illegals to be counted in the census has impacted the re-districting?
Having them counted in the census is probably motivating the use of re-districting by the GOP to mitigate that...

OH I get it now, after this page.
The dishonesty is conflating the VRA with gerrymandering, and claiming THAT was the start. Got the NPC talking point down now
