Yes, I, like you, always want to make sure the left is happy. That is my number one concern.

The left always has a stupid narrative about their opponent. The criticism of Trump was the worst as it was just OMB.

What specifically made Trump divisive? The main “fine people” narrative was 100% false and it was the #1 thing used as evidence of divisiveness. The left is just a divisive group and always will be. They will make a divisive atmosphere regardless of the candidate.

Yeah they gonna apply the exact same approach to whomever the candidate is that they did with Trump. They will come up with plenty of ammo. Hell, they'll conduct a U.S. intelligence agency spying operation if they're coming up short elsewhere. If that doesn't work, they'll simply make shite up outta thin air.

As much as I (and every other US Marshal I know - black or white) love Trump and his policies... this is probably true.

Let a ticket come forward that espouses his same beliefs and is supported by him directly, but doesn't have his stigma.

I personally would vote for Trump 100 times out of 100, but the ONLY reason I've heard from those that didn't vote for him was his personality.

Remove that variable and you have an unstoppable ticket. He was a great president for every bit of "average America" and that torch needs to be picked up. It's just a matter of who does it, with that sort of mass appeal.

Biden will flame out after one term. His voters are already having buyers remorse after a month, imagine 4 more years... This environment will be ripe for the picking for a strong Republican ticket.

Don't kid yourself. Modern progressivism will tar and feather every opponent as a Nazi. Hollywood, singers, sports leagues, media, comedians, you name it they'll piss their pants over any non establishment type that runs.

Desantis is still a good pick if he chooses to run. Dude has my vote.

Razor, that's the same ole tired cop out....and that's not to disparage anyone or meant to insult anyone. Now, it wouldn't necessarily be a cop out IF they gave examples or further explained themselves when they told of the issues with personality. Did/do they?

I'm just not seeing it. Compare Trump's personality to that of, say, Andrew Cuomo. Now that's a personality that warrants having issues with.

Kristi Noem is weak on immigration.

She allowed lot of refugees from 3rd world shitholes after Trump gave her the option to deny them entry into her state.

Definitely gonna pass on her.

DeSantis 2024.

I’ll take any combo of Trump, Desantis, Noem but we need to get Ted Cruz to SCOTUS ASAP!

Like it or not, DeSantis is the better option.

Trump's "thin skin" and his need to "fight every little slight by the media" lost him voters, especially suburban females. Trump should have been touting his record, which was great, and telling everybody what a great job he was doing running the country. Except he couldn't do it. He had to fight every little battle instead of being the bigger man and ignoring it.

In the end, Trump lost to a guy who never left his basement. Just remember that. Trump is not an option for 2024 IMO. Needs to be someone else.

South Dakota flat out needs people, especially for low end labor. The type of labor immigrants tend to do. They have to have them. I would not fault Noem for that.
