Hes a freak. I doubt he doesnt follow his hc though. Auburn buddies saying they want him for 1 yr, and the true fr to take over after
Yup. One of them pairs with lacy, and maybe take the duke rb sheppard since he and berry will be the 2 horses when lacy leaves. 4th rb as a body, maybe d-2 kid who splashed some and works arse off.

Same could have been said about Caleb downs, delane who was 3-4, rd prospect (not quite the dylan stewart hype), haulcy similar to delane jr mock grade.

Its all a risk, but you cant not go after elite talent bc of it.

Then we need to go after their true fr who flashed late in the year, if chambliss doesnt get that extra year.

He has another year left?? He 100% needs to be target #1
We have like 5 wrs on the roster, and need around 9-10. We have 2 rbs and need 4.

3 qb, 2 rb, 3 wr, 2-3 ol of high quality.
Those are rookie numbers in this racket
Would be a really nice christmas gift for 2026. He may just want to play 1 last college game... but I hope youre right.

Yeah I get that. Still comes down to $, system, etc, and if the OC winning games isnt going to be there, then they cant sell anyone on the same offense. Or even the qbs being back.

When do lsu spring practices start? Does it impact us at all? Lane will still figure out the roster and portal
Yall? Excuse who? Just said oline sucked and thats on Kelly and Davis. They didnt develop highly rated guys.

Also. Your aware the head coach and staff is who advises and guides the gm on who to target, offer, etc? So its Kelly if anyone. And he and thomas weren't retained, and haven't seen anyone cry about it. Nice turn of the page, and onto next yr
Zion got hurt at dt, and gooden was a solid add. Payton, pyburn, butler had 1.5-2 sacks each. Reliford got hurt early in season, and cj jackson showed he wasn't ready when got reps. Not sure where Austin Thomas touched your voodoo doll, but good lord ha.

Oline was our issue. Not like we didnt try to get more tackles. Same way we tried for wr conception... dont get every guy you offer. Kelly and a davis didnt develop an oline of top 200 talent kids. Simple as that. Defense was solid enough to make a run
The whiff in the off season was Kelly and Davis inability to develop offensive line. They were handed w very good center and adequate rg that everyone wanted in the country. The fact we didnt develop 3 other staters.. and 2 backups to support in avg levels, is why the team and offense had the season it had. We didnt develop the oline, and it made our offense this hitch, screen, incapable unit that couldn't call plays that go beyond 3 secs to develop. And we couldn't run bc of it, or wouldn't commit to it bc of that fear. Not every de is going to be a 10 sack guy, but they were decent starters in sec. Wes, keys, and Perkins against run heavy teams were the eye sores. Pyburn play declined when he hurt his shoulder. Payton was solid and had alot of good flashes, didnt get the sack #'s though. He was held a ton against vandy, atm, bama, but didnt get calls alot.

Oline was the downfall, and it fell on davis and Kelly.

When I think whiff i think the atm cb, Syracuse cb, etc year where every kid felt like a bust. Forced us into starting 3 star true fr in the sec in many spots.
Dline doesnt get many tackles in general. None of our dts or des had alot of tackles or sacks this year. Still had a top 20 defense, and those des were set starters on it. Some of portal is for depth as well. Not going to hit on every kid. Anderson was the big whiff for sure. Sharp was most disappointing for me. He played so many snaps, had so many chances blocking and receiving and was just terrible all around.
Delane, haulcy were all Americans ha. Payton, pyburn were solid. Brown was okay, moore was good at c. Gooden was solid. Thompson was decent. Sharp, Anderson were whiffs.
You can just put texas, atm, tx tech at 1,2,3. Endless oil reserves. Can pull from when they damn well please. Whether they spend all what they have access to, will dictate this ranking.
Plays star position, and is in coverage half the plays or more. Keys sits at mlb and rbs come to him. Keys struggled in huge ways in coverage, or getting to the edge on run plays. Not sure anyone would disagree with that. Terrible was maybe strong word on my part ha, it was just obvious vandy, ole miss, atm, etc attacked he and wes in pass coverage. Vandy outside runs and he and wes couldn't get there. Hes good for box mlb to fill a hole, but hes bad in coverage and slow to the outside plays. The tackles argument is like saying major burns was a good safety

Not sure youre serious if saying Keys had a better year then Perkins. Perkins played good- great against clemson, florida, scar, bama, ou, arky, not gonna count any non p4 teams. What game did Keys play great? Cause he struggled just as much as Perkins against ole miss, vandy, atm.
Whats the situation on his request for another year, and why is there an assumption hes getting it?

We led the nation in drops this and another yr recently . Not sure if you're serious.
2 should be easy. Even if 1 is THE guy.. since lane just showed qbs get hurt, and turned qb2 into Heisman hopeful

3rd is like a rs fresh just as backed up on another depth chart, with chance to be in lanes offense long term
