Desantis / Noem 2024 is the right ticket.

They have it all as a team. Desantis has a Trump-like take on the limits of government and Kristi Noem is a real, red-blooded American farmer and governor. I would vote for that ticket.

Honestly, I hope not. There are better people that are now ready to govern. Trump's divisiveness will always be the cudgel of the lefties. Desantis might be even better. Same ideas without the baggage.

Noem has less mass appeal than Sarah Palin did in 2008.

Noem's story is far more marketable than Palin's. I have been trying to figure out how people could hate Noem but I cant find it. She is attractive, she is smart, she has work ethic, and she has been a champion for her constituents. She's solid.

I got no issues with Desantis whatsoever. Really like the guy in fact. But if Trump's polling well leading up to 2024 (much like he is now), and he's indicating interest and enthusiasm about the potential of running....why would the Republican Party push him aside thereby likely infuriating the vast number of people who are quite partial to him? Clearly the universally accepted belief is that at this point in time, Trump is far and away the most popular potential 2024 candidate. So there's a significant prediction to say that this won't be the case leading up to 2024. If the current situation changes for whatever reason, well of course then Trump and his supporters would have to genuinely reassess the situation.

But I just can't figure out why some people are eager to move on right this moment.

Couple of points on Desantis: He's only 42 years old. Which is crazy to me.....mostly because apparently I'm getting old. Also, the left is definitely not gonna give him any sort of pass due simply to not being Trump. Desantis has been outspoken (which is great), so he isn't gonna find any friendly situation among the likes of Biden/Harris, Schumer, Pelosi, AOC et al, Bernie, etc etc.

I love Desantis and what he has done in Florida for sure. Should Trump not run, I believe Desantis is the only other option.

If Trump does run, not to change the subject but I think him not having Twitter actually helps him so much. No longer can people say “I like his policy but he’s an a-hole on Twitter so I can’t vote for him”.

This administration is going to go so far left that any Republican that may have voted 3rd party or even for Biden will have no choice but to vote for Trump in 24.

Trump will be 78 in 2024, right? If he was to get elected, he would be president into his 80s. He seems sharp enough mentally to pull that off at this point in time. However, things can change quickly for people in their late 70s. Desantis is not only a great candidate, but would be more in his prime come ‘24. I agree with this ticket, perhaps with the backing of Trump.

It will be Trump/Noem

DeSantis can’t run if Trump runs because the constitution prohibits both being from the same state.

Need Noem to get reelected in 22 then make sure her LT Gov is solid.

Don’t do the Collins suicide move. He lost Georgia and the Senate by his idiocy

If I was citizen of their respective states, I would hope they would not succumb to the Siren Song of the Potomac.
