Turns out all it took to get repubs to vote Dem (or sit out) and destroy the US as we know it was moderate gas prices and an aerial conflict in Iran.
People are really dumb. But hey, they got to feel like their voices were heard. Hope they enjoy it, because it's likely the last election they'll feel that way in their lifetimes.

They won't get a supermajority in this election. 2028 is a reset. The biggest issue for the Republicans is that their leadership is all MAGA. Regardless of what you think of Trump, this type of movement has to be rebranded eventually. People have MAGA-fatigue, and it showed in this election. The Republicans need to restructure their message and find better candidates. There is absolutely no reason they should not be running black candidates in the South (see Florida) and Latino candidates in the West.

Once in control of the White House, add 5 (or however many it takes) left wing SC justices who dont think 2A is relevant and wallah. No more 2A. There are tons of Dems graduating law schools every year who would outlaw the 2A if given the chance. Its odd you seem to have no concept of how any of this works.

There are zero opportunities for GOP to flip seats, they can only pray they can hold on to what they have.
If you control house, 60 Senate Seats, and Presidency after 2028
2 Supreme Court seats will be up for grabs, and you can even expand the court and make it ultra liberal.
Create laws limiting guns and have them upheld by your newly updated Supreme Court.
Open the borders, and do all you can to fundamentally change America for good by ensuring the GOP can't gain control again.
The worthless GOP and America really fricked themselves last night. People can say blow it off but we are teetering on the cusp of a DSA controlled America.
2028 will be the make or break for the future direction of the country . Socialism or Democracy.

I’m concerned about their full control at the state levels of places like Texas. They’ll implement policies like no voter ID to rig those elections going forward making a path for Rs to take back those states very hard

You do realize we are dealing with the most worthless GOP leadership to exist in history right? They held all 3 and couldn't pass anything. Heck they couldn't even approve all of trumps appointees. Their failure is why they got blasted last night, but you think they are going to magically fix the issue in 2 years?

They're not likely to attack 2A head on, at least at first. They're likely to just start eroding a little at a time until it's basically worthless like in other countries.
They'll attack what type of guns you can own, enact strict "red flag" laws nationally, what kind of attachments you can own, how much ammo, attack gun manufacturers, create a national database of every gun, stuff like that.

I mean they just have a simple plan, win the White House in 2028, keep congress and than get rid of the filibuster 
If that happens, Maybe in 2029 the getting rid of the filibuster act can be named after some republican senators

I'm getting busy and arranging my life to get the hell out of here because I don't want any part of it.
What these lunatics do the next two years will determine how quickly and completely I leave.
I have very little hope, If any at all. They have it now and they're not going to let it go and they're going to dig in very deep.
Just take a look at Texas.
Next election cycle any good guys remaining will be out.
I'm not despairing. I'm actually looking forward to going living somewhere else where there's peace and the people are a homogenous society who can control their mental impulses.
It was interesting watching the end of it all in some respects. In a way kind of like being here for the end of the world.
I've been enlightened enough in the past to see it coming, and it has all gone strictly according to plan and been very successful.
But I'm an old white guy and I plan to live another 40 years and I wouldn't be able to allowed to have that happen here.
So it is likely I'll be permanently posting from somewhere else in an undisclosed location.
Like a recipe.
Like a plan that has been unfolding before our very eyes that will be our very demise.
