I saw Fox say the handpicked successor is Sadiq Ardashir Larijani, who has sanctions from both the US and EU due to how he ran the judicial system there. They said he was actively involved in the severe crackdowns of the past couple months. He's a hardcore true believer, just as bad as the prior guys.
