We have majorities in both. Not a damn thing passed of substance.

Before you start talking about replacing Justices, look a little closer to the real problem.

Chip Roy had at least one thing right; It's going to take the population to remove all 435 from the House and 100 from the Senate before anything can possibly ever change for the better (or for the worse).

Correct. Congress is the worst thing in this country. The status quo uniparty that spends and legislates out their arse to make our lives more difficult.

The US Congress will never ever again advance any agenda that is even remotely "Conservative" no matter whether the GOP controls both houses or not.

The Congress will advance the Leftist Agenda, of course.

Congress was just neutered yesterday, though.

We don't have large enough majorities in Congress to pass a constitutional amendment. This is a SCOTUS failure. Solely.

Unclear to me that the child of an undocumented immigrant is “subject to the jurisdiction” to the United States.

I think SCOTUS made an interesting leap here, but I will support it. If our lawmakers want to change birthright citizenship they should do it with an amendment.

Won't happen, but at least you'll be able to say you supported this incorrect reading of the Constitution as the country goes up in flames.

No this is a failure of the Congress back in 1865.

Not really. The clause in the Amendment is clear, and does not support the ruling from SCOTUS today.

I loathe them both.

Minus a few of the Justices.

Correct.

Congress could fix this and a number of different problems by enacting legislation. If they restricted birthright citizenship and the rule is asylum legislatively I believe the SCOTUS would support it. They’ve deferred more than once to current law when dealing with things like this.

Some of us have been beating the drum that EO’s are a work around and Congress needs to get off their arse and make some of these permanent.

All of our problems are because we have a generation of Congressmen who refuse to act. They’re cowards who don’t want to vote on anything remotely controversial so they don’t jeopardize their seat.

Rs have controlled Congress and the presidency several times since the 1960's and the ever increasing creep of progressivism continues unabated.......hmmmm.

Correct. The nice thing about EO’s is it provides the ability to try and get something done while Congress does what it does best, which is “not much”.

The bad thing about EO’s is they can be easily undone.
