And far more examples of aggressors who overextended themselves and had their empires collapse, including several that you referenced.

Russia could be about to drop the nuke of having the cure for cancer... The same cure that our own CIA classified and hid from the public for over 50 years.
Thus the reason for Ratcliffe to haul arse and cover for our crimes against humanity.

I don't know.... maybe it's just me, but... there's some serious fricking problems if news media knows when the head of our purportedly most secretive and leathal intelligence agency leaves the US and travels to Russia.

KCT, I believe it was the opposite.
3-4 mnths into the war, there a peace agreement that Ukraine/Russia did on their own.
Boris and NATO came into town and said this isn't happening.

This was my first thought when I saw the CIA director in Moscow. I can’t imagine the CIA Director is negotiating a peace deal with Putin. However, I could see him organizing a coup or establishing a back channel.

Almost certainly not. If you were sending a delegate to negotiate peace the CIA director would literally be the last on the list of people you would choose for such a thing.
Chances are we got wind of some sort of upcoming escalation.

The Vatican's foreign minister also met with Russian officials today. First time in years.

Likely reminding him that the US would honor NATO Article V commitment regardless of what’s going with Iran.

I wouldn't just assume this. Trump isn't too happy with NATO. Never has been, but especially lately.

I wonder if there is any sort of security or operational reason why we flew him in that big arse plane instead of an executive jet.

This is exactly what happened.
