Race swapping is racist.

Fictional mermaids don’t have a race…

And neither do fictional dwarves.

Some of you fall into the left’s traps every single time. You let them make YOU place importance on a fictional character’s race.

Is the film going to be about Ariel’s struggles against aquatic white supremacy?

Not likely. Her skin color just is darker.

This is such a bizarre take.

Woke: we care about race so much we're going to ignore history/source material and change the race of characters so we can be the wokest of woke and have a fabulous ESG score.

Non-woke: that's stupid.

Woke: LOL, you care about race so much you're crying about a cartoon.

Mostly true. But not entirely. White conservatives sure get offended and scared when they perceive white people are going to be replaced. Meh.

If you bothered even reading his whole comment. He said that conservatives care about the blatant double standards.

But carry on attacking that straw man.

Ask the people who made Ariel black. You can post all the emojis you want, it’s still a weird take, but I get that you have talking points to follow.

With technology today any character's appearance can be adjusted pretty quickly and easily.

So what is wrong with having multiple versions for each customer group?

After all, the customer is always right as the saying goes.

I don't think so. Were Macedonians black?

No, but there are Black Europeans of African ancestry, aka Afro-Europeans.

So to stay "above the fray," we're to just casually appear that we don't notice that the "polar bear" game now has been transferred to Chinese-Americans and others who look like easy marks.

And that reports of these incidents have somehow not found their way to the Chinese mainland? Or even Taiwan?

Or how about Japan.

Hollywood should stop replacing white characters with black ones.
Their deepest fear is not the eternal damnation that surely awaits them, but the woke white girl on Twitter (or her black counterpart who has recently written a book on how to be "anti-racist") mocking them with a tweet that suggests they're not woke enough. That makes them shite their pants.

Different situations. I never got the impression they were changing Aquaman for woke reasons. Momoa is very popular. The change was done to make money and that film did very well.

The Little Mermaid race swap was done entirely for the race/woke/gay agenda Disney has. They knew it would piss fans off and hurt the film.

They don't care about their shareholders anymore. It is all about appeasing the woke twitter mob.

Idris Elba should have been James bond. Not because he's black but because he's British and he kicked everyone's arse in Luther. He did get fricked up in the the wire but whatever

Ask Disney. Ask the left. Ask yourself.
