The middle 2/3 of this country doesn't want The Years of Lead US Edition. That ain't even the left or right...that is the centrists and most sensible left or right minded people.

The political “middle” of this country is disappearing quicker than toilet paper at a hot chili eating contest after yesterday. A line has been drawn. You either step one way or the other, or get caught in the crossfire. You don’t have to fully agree with the right, but the left absolutely defined who they were in the wake of Charlie’s assassination. It’s a simple choice at this point.

This. I get the urge to promote “my side”, but it just takes one zealot out there to see a sticker or t shirt to go all Karen in your face, or worse.

Funny thing is, I remember when Dems put up a sign mocking W before the 04 election. “You’re fired!”

Of course he wasn’t, but little did they know they were promoting Trump even then! That was the year The Apprentice first aired.

This whole situation has made me incredibly sad. Sad for Kirk's family, sad for Charlie and for our nation. I feel sad for the confused man that killed him and for the justice he will surely face.

As a Christian, I was taught to love my enemies. That's hard to do, especially when it doesn't seem instinctual. We're taught to forgive and seek peace.

I'm dismayed by calls for civil war and more violence on the right. I'm shocked at the lack of compassion on the left. Way too much cruelty.

There's too much rage in this country.

Christianity is a hard path, but I committed to it, and I feel it is my obligation-our obligation-to attempt to follow its teachings. I'm going to try to listen more and try to understand people I may not agree with. I'm going to do it out of Christian responsibility and for the sake of the nation our children and grandchildren will inherit.

turns out, the left only wants to have a conversation so they can shoot you in the neck like a coward.

They've lost their privileges to have a conversation with normal Americans.

They have a lot of work to do on themselves.

without having to read 71 pages, can someone explain to me how the camera kept following the shooter across the roof, then drop down to the ground, and then ran off across the street. this was the video released last night before capture.

Peaceful resolution of political differences is the exception historically.

The vast majority of major political differences are resolved by force.

There is a component of the democrat party that subscribes to the belief that the Ends Justify the Means. Combine that with the denial of any higher power ie god, and it’s a lethal combo.

Killing someone who is ideologically opposed to them is okay. Government is the highest power. So they aren’t concerned with an afterlife.

Podcaster led FBI captures assassin in less than 48 hours, meanwhile, Seth Rich's murderer still at large.

Because the words you use and ideas and values that you espouse that they don't like are considered violence to them.

Attempting to suggest that an appointed member of the federal govt in this administration is not qualified after the appointments made by the last administration is rich. And actually laughable.

You imply he never did anything related to law enforcement before his podcast?

You feel sad for a cold blooded murderer? You’re part of the problem.

I feel sadness for anyone when their life spirals out of control and ends in tragedy. That's what Christians are supposed to do, so are you saying Christian teaching is the problem?

Proverbs 15:18
"A hot-tempered man stirs up strife, but he who is slow to anger quiets contention."

No. I’m saying you’re part of the problem. Maybe if we’d quit showing sympathy to cold blooded murderers, and actually do something to prevent shite like this from happening, we wouldn’t even have to have this conversation. And the truth is, the liberal party needs to be extinguished. We need to smash that ideology from existence. It’s an ideology that promotes killing babies by the millions, mutilating children, champions men in women’s sports and spaces, promotes the idea that you can be whatever sex you want to be (is that God’s will?), promotes open borders where foreign criminals can just waltz right in and kill our citizens, and the list of atrocities is endless. Selectively throwing a Bible verse at me is not the answer. I could do the same thing. We have no idea how God will judge this murderer. So in the meantime, I’ll be damned if I show him any sympathy or shed an ounce of sadness for him.
