Well some would argue that we already have term limits because we can just simply vote out any politician we think may be to old every 2-4-years. I would like to see it actually put into law though.

Senators serve 6 year terms.

Getting into interesting legal territory if ICE is stopping trucks that far from the border. Unless they’re “accompanying” state police/inspections.

They’re generally held to reasonable suspicion standards on searches more than 100/150 miles from the border.

Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) can perform its duties throughout the entire United States, not just near the border, as its focus is on interior immigration enforcement. While U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) handles border security, ICE investigates violations and arrests individuals within the U.S. interior. ICE operates nationwide through field offices, using specialized units to enforce federal immigration law, and can detain individuals anywhere in the country.

Shabby attempt, Reddit worthy, but nonsense none the less.

I would change things up and ask Elon Musk to have a go at it since you don't have to be a lawyer to be the US Attorney General. I like his style.

Would do the same with any Supreme Court Judge nominations. Neither of them are required to be lawyers.

Have enough lawyers involved in Government, too many. They have clerks and assistants that can fulfill that requirement.

While the picture is somewhat appreciated (just for following the rules if not the quality), a link would be nice.

Replace the Europeans with a more controllable group. It's pretty straightforward.

Kinda like replacement, but that's just a conspiracy.

On another note..."freedom of press" is one thing, but I think maintaining a legit perimeter around LE doing their job needs to be established. Even for "press". One thing is a couple of them but damn it's now a hoard of annoyance getting in the way, and then they complain if they get hurt in the mix up.

Completely agree, it provides cover for attacks on the LEO as well, like throwing objects.

This thread is a discussion about public support, not laws.

If that be the case, or at least your latest fatigue Jessica Tarlov wanna be, then stop injecting polls into your missive. Read the room as it were, gain insight to public opinion here in a public chatroom.

More to the point slow, this discussion is most certainly about laws and governance from which the public support is derived. You have no standing to dictate my speech, nor will you. Your supposition is hereby denied.

Councilor, we are a nation of laws, not polls.

I understand that some politicians steer to catch the wind (generally of the lawyer background) and are worthless creations so devoid of purpose, drive or imagination that they are functionally useless to their constitutes. As Rush put it, they seek through politics that which they cannot obtain by working outside of politics. They campaign on promises that they don't intend to keep, so as to campaign on those promises again.

However a true Executive President goes by the laws that govern their nation, works to improve the lives of their countrymen and fulfill to the best of their ability the campaign promises made. For this they are hounded by the former elected officials, dubious slowflow internet posters and other feminine TDS suffers.

Few care about you or your dribble either. The fatigue is real. :violin:
