Anyone remember the Lie Detector game? Before the 1976 game, Darrell Royal accused Oklahoma of spying on practices and challenged the OU staff to take a lie-detector test with a $10,000 charity payout on the line. Game ended in a 6-6 tie.
In 1905, Oklahoma and Texas played to a 0–0 tie late into the fourth quarter before OU's Bob Severin tackled a Texas ball carrier in the end zone for a safety, winning the game 2–0.

My original post was meant as a joke. Some people failed to see it in that light. Having sex before an athletic event likely has no bearing on athletic performance.

What a stupid thing to say. If he'd been getting pussy, he'd probably play tired and too relaxed. If he wasn't getting any, he'd play angry and be raging on testosterone. Caller is dumb.
The Sooners can win, but to do so we'll have to correct a lot of issues in a really short amount of time. Both teams are having OL issues. Mateer's problems are well documented, but some of that is caused by the OL not giving him time. Defenses on both sides are strong; however, I'm sensing OU's defense is beginning to show a lot of frustration.
I'm hoping Newbauer gets a chance.

It's a great game and for a lot of reasons. It happens during the Texas State Fair which is adjacent to the legendary Cotton Bowl. The split seating, the legends that have played there all make it special. If you're a college football fan, you should try to go at least once.
I do think there's more actual hatred in the Michigan-Ohio State game. Army-Navy is a top three rivalry game.
