Not really. It's a crap shoot at that point. McDavid tried to have his Crosby moment, played selfishly and paid the price.

We hang on to win after UT moved within a single possession, 100-93.

Mateer frequently hurts his team with brain dead decisions.
Winning these kinds of games often comes down to a few critical decisions and putting the dagger in when you have the chance.
Well, there you go. Bad choice by the QB, poor effort by the WR and now the punter.
