Most people’s initial thought is that there is no way he could have gotten to that position and gotten of a shot without help. As time goes on, we will learn that the SS was so inept, that they allowed a 20 year old with no training to get a shot at the once and future president

In a common sense world, that’s not where you put a sniper team. You put a sniper team on the roof of the building immediately North, and about 12 feet away from that building, because that position is
1) one story higher (taller building) to cover more ground, and
2) that building covers the Crooks building completely, and no one can use the pitch of the building to hide
From there, you’d be looking straight down on 100% of that roof

What kind of AR? Everyone assumes it was an AR 15. Is there any confirmation? An AR 15 even broken down is pretty bulky even for a backpack. But an AR 7 ( glorified 22 & 8 shot clip) only has a 16 - 18 in barrel and 150 yards is within it's effective range and is relatively light and easier to fit in a backpack.

I was about to say, I’d be relieved if it were “only” coed. Metal roof, confirmed threat, and sniper rifles. Could they have shot through the roof to stop him?
