Wonder how a Referendum on the ballot, would would stand to make "Gated Communities" illegal.

I thought some states already have variations of this in place?

They are trying to impose on individuals what they imposed on businesses by not considering theft of less than 900 dollars a crime.

So, Rittenhouse "created a violent situation" by defending and fighting for his life, as well as everyone else's around him?

Ok

I can imagine Saint Benitez salivating for this one to come to his court.

This is an outrageous bill.

By California, do you mean one idiot. Idiotic bills are proposed all of the time. This wont go anywhere.

Just recently there was a bill introduced in the Mississippi Legislature that would make it illegal for a man to ejaculate without the intent to fertilize an embryo.

I put this one in the same category.

in a sane world yes. I cannot recall SCOTUS hearing or refusing to hear a facial case involving involving 'castle doctrine' or 'duty to retreat' (perhaps there are some obscure 'as applied' cases?)

They usher in illegals and make it illegal to defend yourself from them. Typical, coming from those who hide behind body guards and security gates.

Sure about that one?

Police: "Why did you shoot him 9 times?" Me: That's all the bullets I had Welcome to my Red State Castle Doctrine.

You literally quoted sheriff Brady Judd of Polk County Office 75 bullets into the victim and he said that's all we have

Wow. The Rittenhouse case is as close to a textbook self defense case as you’ll ever see and every moment was captured on video!

Sounds like citizens in CA will be held to the same higher standard as their local law enforcement, but without any training.

California is now officially, certifiably insane, just in case they were not already certified. I just don’t see how anyone with common sense could live in that state. Literally a dumpster fire, followed by a mudslide, and managed by clowns.

It ready is illegal to defend yourself

If someone breaks into your house you need to let them rob you vs shooting them
