According to Bob Woodward’s book Peril, Gen. Mark Milley directed senior military officers NOT to follow the president’s orders, unless Gen. Milley approved them first. When I asked Gen. Milley about Peril at an Armed Services hearing, he claimed he hadn’t READ it. Convenient. So Sen. Chuck Grassley and I sent a letter to Gen. Milley, asking him to verify or refute the books’ claims.
He hasn’t responded. I am calling on Gen. Milley to set the record straight. Gen. Milley is accused of secretly SEIZING the president’s military powers. That is the most serious crime. If he is innocent, he has a duty to say so.

Nothing will ever happen to people like Gen Milley unless he is killed/overthrown by his subordinates. Imagine being in the military and taking orders from such a fat worthless cuck as Gen Milley. How he hasn’t been beaten to death is a mystery. This POS said he would call and tell China beforehand if we were going to attack them

The military are still subject to court martial after retirement to a degree IIRC.

I seriously doubt Obama and W had control over the military either. Obama initially campaigned on taking our troops out of the middle east, like trump did. But as soon as he won, he turned into W on steroids regarding the middle east. I think Obama kept his head down and accepted it because they promised to satisfy his vanity and give him a decent reputation with the help of the state media and universities.
I just wonder how long has it been since a president actually controlled our military.

He knew what he was after his behavior/actions after the church fire in DC. Milley had a long history of not carrying out Trumps wishes. I remember Trump use to brag on him and tell us how great that he was. Milley should have been fired long before Jan. 6.

The entire Flag Officer Corps is corrupt as hell. We need to shite can each and everyone of them that have ever made a political post on social media (either way). Place civilian oversight at every Flag Command and get back to apolitical positions. If it doesn’t further military operations you shite can it….to include every mentally ill Transgender service member. Drum them out because they are non-deployable like the service members that refused the Vaxx.
