Does anybody remember it was rumored he was leaving back late Spring/early Summer? I think it was because the new leadership of the FBI (Kash and Dan) was getting stalled by old staff concerning the J6 Pipe Bomb investigation, which Dan commented on a lot before he took the job with the FBI. Now that that case has been solved, he may feel like he has accomplished what he set out to do. And he can return to his podcast knowing he accomplished something and with the blessing of President Trump.

Bongino and Kash acted as if it was just so simple and would be better if they were in charge.
Trump doesn’t hire competent people because he cannot control them as well.

It's not that he'll be able to say anything about what he saw 'inside'.
And if after years of wanting a position to do something, he doesn't last for even a year, it can only mean that either the swamp is too deep and thick or he wasn't the right stuff, or both. I don't know which one of those is what really happened. Only that it's a huge red flag.
But if Bongino is the legit dude I think he is, and he was eager to serve his country and the Trump administration, then the only option left is the FBI being a bottomless cesspool.
And Kash Patel is doing Cosmopolitan-esque interviews with his girlfriend. Okay.
