A Washington, D.C., district court judge issued a temporary restraining order Thursday that prevents both civilian and active-duty military plaintiffs from being terminated after they sued the Biden administration over religious exemptions to COVID-19 vaccines.
"None of the civilian employee plaintiffs will be subject to discipline while his or her request for a religious exception is pending," District Judge Colleen Kollar-Kotelly ordered, according to a Minute Order obtained by Fox News.

The judge also ruled that "active duty military plaintiffs, whose religious exception requests have been denied, will not be disciplined or separated during the pendency of their appeals."

The court further ordered the defendants in the Biden administration to file a supplemental notice by noon on Friday that indicates whether they will agree that no plaintiff will be disciplined or terminated pending the court's ruling.

Twenty plaintiffs sued President Biden and members of his administration in their official capacity over the president's Sept. 9 executive order mandating vaccines for federal employees, according to civil action filed Sunday.
quote:
"The Biden administration has shown an unprecedented, cavalier attitude toward the rule of law and an utter ineptitude at basic constitutional contours," said the plaintiffs' attorney Michael Yoder in a statement to Fox News.

Considering that branches like the Navy were denying exemptions en masse without bothering to follow any procedure, this could get interesting.

frick the religious exception ... no one should be forced to put anything in their body for any reason by anyone that they do not wish to. There is no need for an exception.

You’re not wrong but when religious exemptions are now being denied as a condition of remaining MRNA free it should scare the shite out of every freedom loving American.

Surprisingly DHS has accepted religious exemptions en masse. I was shocked.
And this is from a super higher up in DHS

Just because they think they need to delve into and attempt to analyze the sincerity of your religious beliefs, doesn't mean the government is not willing to protect your freedom!

There is no freedom when the government can force me to take a vaccine. The government ain't protecting shite.

What does this mean? "whether they will agree". So, they have a right to just ignore the injunction?

You confuse 'the right' to ignore with 'the will' to ignore... They've already admitted the latter being the default position for most things Libs disagree with.

True but anyone can file these as an excuse. How can they prove if you’re religious or not

I had a call with HR yesterday after I filled out my vaccine survey stating I am not vaccinated and will not do so and also did not choose any of the exemptions. She wanted to verify my response was correct. I told her yes and I didn't want to jump through any BS hoops they may have to prove I may qualify for an exemption. She acted surprised.

It may be asking if they will follow the injunction, or appeal it.

Agree! The government has no business telling any of us what we should be doing with our own bodies.
Just like the seatbelt law, why does the government have the right to tell me what to do in a car a buy, that I maintain, I pay taxes for, and asking me to do something that doesn't hurt other people?
We slowly but surely giving away up our freedom, bit by bit, all in the same of security.
