Trump was part of the problem, but not the main culprit.

The problem is that the cultural marxists have got a strangle hold on media, Hollywood, Big Tech, Education, Banks, the military, the government agencies, etc. The long march through the institutions is almost complete, and they are corrupt tyrants.

The conservatives (the right) and the centrists (traditionalists) were slow to engage in the fight. The hydra of the cultural marxists snuck up on us.

The fight will get more heated, and it will get worse for freedom lovers for awhile. It will take even more pain and abuse, which is certain to come, before the average, low-Information citizen starts to push back.

Nah. Reluctance to criticize our candidates has led to an overall lowering of standards.

Doesn't matter if the Dems believe certain seats in politics are worth cheating over than the ones that have zero impact.

6. Donald Trump was a major drag on Republicans, from his picks to his antics.Trump picked bad candidates, spent almost no money on his hand-picked candidates, and then proceeded to crap on the Republicans who lost and didn't sufficiently bend the knee. This will have 2024 impact.

He’s spot on here.
Trump has gone from MAGA to MDTGA

yep

The logical inconsistencies during this coping phase are pretty humorous.

The only enthusiasm and grass roots efforts (other than Desantis) came from the America First wing of the party. Many hoped it would overcome the ballot harvesting. It didn't. THAT'S what happened in a nutshell.

And, it's a very bad sign for 2024. People are assuming Desantis will be immune from it. He won't.

Yeah but he also relies on low-IQ people like Lauren Bobert, Clay Higgins, MTG, etc.

My point is simply that I find it hilarious that in terms of pure policy, Trump is literally THE GUY this class has begged for for decades. Yet, they're such a bunch of emotional wrecks, they worried about irrelevant shite.

As for abortion, that's pretty much a last few months thing so, the problem predates that. Besides. Anyone who generally hates liberal economic policy but voted Dem because of abortion should be made fun of, mocked, and generally shoved out of the lives of any reasonably rational person. When I hear one of them whine about the economy, I simply laugh at them and tell them I hope they starve.

Oz is one of the least appealing candidates ever.

I don’t understand people who think honest criticism of Trump while still supporting him, equates to never Trumping.

His criticism may have some validity to it, but Shapiro had a chubby getting to write what he did about putting it on Trump.

Him and Hugh Hewitt are the biggest never Trumpers on the AM radio circuit. They cover it with some positives but you can hear the distain in their voices of you listen to them long enough. You can't even think about there being a tad bit of 2020 issues in front of these 2 as it's a "Trump thing".

Fetterman proves this to be false.

That would be evidence (not proof) if Oz wasn't such a shitty Trumpkin.

Look how another shitty Trumpkin, Walker, underperformed Kemp in Georgia.

You can say that again. Their Senate candidate in PA got beat by the guy from Slingblade.

No, Oz proved it to be false

You just lost any credibility you might have had. No sane person would possibly believe that Fetterman is a better candidate. Oz was not a good candidate, but Fetterman is outright crap. Just because Oz lost doesn't change this.

I thought Oz became a good candidate as time went on. But the Republican Party guys who could not recruit someone who was actually from PA.Had they found someone who grew up and lived in PA, he would have cleaned Fetterman's clock

This ain't NY where an outside carpetbagger can come in and win like an RFK or Hillary.

Yep, Graham is an intentional idiot who pretends to be conservative when the election rolls around. His once gay lover taught him well

A lot of laughing emojis at this comment in this thread, but I'm not sure why.

I don't think it is meant to be applied as a general comment to both Republicans and Democrats and Shapiro is saying that it matters significantly to Republicans.

Democrats will elect anyone with a D next to the name. Republicans will stay home and not vote for someone they don't like or cast a "protest" vote for a Libertarian.

We may all think it's stupid or whatever, but it is generally true.

Look at Georgia:

Kemp is up on Abrams by almost 300k votes in Gubernatorial election.

Walker is down by almost 20k votes to Warnock.

In the GA Senate election, approx. 81k votes went to Libertarian candidate.

In the GA Gubernatorial election, approx. 28k votes went to Libertarian candidate

A better Republican candidate than Walker wins running away away.

Candidate quality does not matter... Look at most of Democrats... Retards, liars, racists, crack pots.

It's mail in vote theft.

People on the right think Trump is a narcissistic a-hole that doesn't give two shits about the party or anyone else in it.

They don't think he's a Nazi.

I don’t think you understand, it’s very simple though, if the republican candidate wasn’t so crap, we would have won.
