I do hope to see this vigorous response from you in the future... like if ICE or DHS or whatever, pops a cap in a well deserving arse.

Byrd was out of line. No one was still on the floor that needed such "protection".

There’s no such policy.

There’s two cases where Capitol police are authorized to use deadly force. They reflect most police departments’ use of deadly force policies.

1) Imminent threat of serious physical injury to self or others.

2) to apprehend or prevent the escape of a fleeing subject under certain conditions (e.g., the officer reasonably believes that the person to be apprehended poses an imminent threat of death or serious physical injury to the officer or others if apprehension is delayed).

The policy also included this line:
“officers are only authorized to use the level of force that appears reasonably necessary to bring a subject under control while protecting the lives of officers and others.”

My question has remained the same since the day of the shooting.

What person was Michael Byrd protecting from imminent threat of serious physical injury or death?

As you respond with some inane dumb shite, remember that words mean things. And “imminent” is a pretty important word here.

Now tell me a taser and a cuff wouldn't have been more reasonable in her particular situation, if she even posed a serious threat at all.

I remember her climbing through a broken window towards a gun

Wait...are you saying there's proof that Byrd yelled out telling her to "freeze," and not crawl thru the window? And she continued going, knowing he was there ready to shoot her if she did? I've missed that. Please post it.

You mean the policy that says it's not OK to emerge from a hiding spot and murder an unarmed woman who never even knew you were there at pointblank range?

Don’t beat yourself up. You made the right choice.

Nothing in the Potomac Beltway is worth fighting over — much less dying over. Indeed, if true Liberty is to return to this once great nation, it will come from the individuals states peacefully refusing to follow — to varying degrees — any tyrannical dictates issued by the permanent bipartisan reigning regime in Washington D.C.

People were in body armor, had zip tie cuffs, were chanting “hang Mike Pence”, beat the shite out of cops, the “peaceful” crowd was forcing its way to the chamber when Babbit was shot.

Knowing what we know now about the number of FBI agents and assets in the crowd, along with antifa-types cos-playing as MAGA, I would be really interested in finding out who among the small number that had zip ties and body armor were true far right loons and who were just there to be the spark that set the fire blazing so they could pin it on Trump.

I'm also interested in understanding how pols, pundits, MSM, "thought leaders", etc who are still fixated on this small group who committed violence on Jan 6 don't seem to give a single frick about the violence committed by "protestors" against ICE agents and journalists on the ground, and aren't at all concerned about the destruction of federal property that isn't a window of the capitol building. It would be a lot easier to swallow their "concern" about Jan 6 if they weren't so completely hypocritical about idealogical violence. "Charlie Kirk was just murdered!" "Well, that was bad, BUT..."

Babbitt is the very definition of FAFO. The excuses on here for her are laughable. If she was a blue haired trans liberal doing the exact same thing people would be congratulating the officer. What Babbitt did was extremely stupid and low IQ.

So why did she break a glass window on a locked and barricaded door and start climbing through? Is that part of the normal tour?

to me, that is the most important take away.

Babbit did not break the glass, but she attempted to climb over the barricade, unarmed, and was shot for that.

Fair enough. Let's play "fair". What's good for one Fed LEO is good for another Fed LEO.

Ashli Babbitt and all those J6 Patriots were walking into an orchestrated trap. It was all designed to "get Trump". Nancy Pelosi turned down President Trump's offer for 10,000 National Guard Troop security around the Capital because she knew it was a trap and that added security would have stopped her little scheme.

Sickening how these evil people got away with this. Not one schemer will spend one day in jail for this injustice. Especially Ashli Babbitt's murderer - Michael Byrd.

Justice delayed is Justice denied.
