I too believe this^^^.

I think what I'm struggling with is whether God wants those who love the One who gifted them this constitutional republic to make a stand and fight for its preservation. I honestly do not know.

Part of me thinks the Creator is signaling to many self professed Christians in the US you are 100% reaping what you have sowed for sitting on your hands and allowing the unrighteous and morally deficient to destroy the nation that was given to you by the Almighty.

The window to save America from what it has already become closed long ago. The Vietnam era destroyed the nation and then they had children and grandchildren who are facilitating its destruction. Now we have large percentages of Americans who openly hate the country and what it was founded on then we have millions of “moderates” who don’t stand for anything and change with the wind

I fear you're right and pray you're wrong.

Where the US is today is at the proverbial crossroad, a crossroad where a nation either finds its guts, heart and soul or where a nation loses itself to inexcusable apathy or by ignoring or refusing to respond to the forces that seek to destroy the nation the revolutionary patriots fought, bled and died for many generations ago.

I believe the joke here is on the pawns in the change merchant movement. As the nation has navigated the first 250 yrs we have had to work through a half dozen or so watershed moments in our history. I believe that as we go forward even after our time on this earth is over that the leaders of this country when tested will fall back to the founding principles of this country. It may not look like the nation we knew as we grew up but nobody wants to succumb to a threat and just bend the knee when challenged.

The next big watershed moment to me will be financial and not necessarily from a foreign invasion or influence. The path our leaders are on is not sustainable with respect to open borders and benefits for all. When that limit is finally reached then you will see who has achievable answers and who doesnt.

I agree with this, sad as it is. As a Nation, our heart has hardened and we are seeing the consequences of that each and every day.

I will say what's already been said. Right now, Americans are too complacent and too lazy to do what needs to be done. Voting and elections are not going to solve the problem. Congress is thoroughly corrupt. Electing new legislators does not oust the shadow cabal who are responsible for the corruption; Singh, Soros, WEF, etc.

The main problem is that conservative Americans are still high-trust, playing-by-the-rules-people because they generally work for a living and have a family. They think electing "true conservatives" will take the fight to D.C. Anybody remember Madison Cawthorn? He couldn't have made the problem any more clear and that didn't move the needle 1 inch. Unfortunately, there are too many low trust people in the country now for a civil solution.

That's one facet. The other is Islam. I have been repeatedly reminding people here why Islam is eventually going to lead to (more) American deaths on our own soil. People have their heads in the sand about this. There are already millions of Muslims here, practicing Sharia and it is completely naive to think none of them are planning for mass terrorism. It will happen. People are going to be shocked and outraged. They are going to feel betrayed.

And yes, I'm on the front lines. I'm with the Green Berets, Special Unit Battalion’s Commando Airborne Tactics Specialist Tactics Unit Battalion. It's real hush-hush. My name is Special Agent Orange

I wish I could agree

Violent crime is bad
Suicide is bad, sadly amongst young people
Tons of Americans who don't want to work - trust fund babies
Every major metro area in the country is deteriorating rapidly
Deep state players embedded at almost every level of society. Not even Trump can solve this
Corruption is through the roof
Our own government has been targeting conservative citizens (because they favor limited government)
Public education is in the toilet
Multiple generations of young people indoctrinated and brainwashed. Can't read an analog clock much less know anything important or useful
Illegal immigration has brought in who knows how many terrorists
Completely broken justice system, no important people have been prosecuted for major, heinous crimes
Abortion is through the roof, the most reprehensible and shameful evil any society could ever perpetuate
Generational wealth is diminishing

The US has been in decline for about 30 years now.

The two party system has reached it's inevitable point of absolute corruption.

some things are great
My perspective on this is that conservative people are generally high trust and don't live in deep blue, urban areas so their lives are mostly unchanged on a daily basis which is illusory and exactly what the deep state wants - comfortable, complacent, sedated

Meanwhile, the problems are festering. What's happening in NYC is unthinkable and right on schedule for the shadow cabal

I wish you could too. Because your view is sad and pathetic.

It means you have no idea how fortunate you are to live in this moment of time in this country.

Sad. And pathetic.

None of the things you listed slow you down from reaching your most full potential in this country in this moment

You are your own worst enemy and the time you spent writing your loser list was a waste.

Have a great 4th!

If we don't fix the immigration and birthright citizenship problem, we won't make it another 250.

I absolutely know this and have been closely watching the foreign soccer fans talk about this and relating these things to my peers. But that doesn't mean the US doesn't have major, perhaps fatal issues. Those things I posted are factual.

Realistic and I'm not the only person who can see this

You must have missed the part where the government was targeting conservatives. Have you heard of affirmative action? Quotas? DEI? Illegal immigrants taking jobs from Americans. You are objectively wrong on this point. Do you honestly think public education is better than it has been? There's no way you're that ignorant.

Have you commented on the explosion of mosques in this country or paid protestors or corruption? Because if you have, you are a hypocrite. If you haven't, your head is in the sand.

You are absolutely who my message was aimed at - sedated, compliant, comfortable, bread and circuses. You are right where they want you and people like you will realize it too late. In fact, it might already be too late in terms of a civil solution to these numerous problems

By the way, if you think I don't enjoy life every day, you are mistaken. I pray with and teach my child to be thankful for everything God has given us and he has still blessed us mightily. But the OP was specifically about this country as a political entity, not about my life in general. In that regard, the outlook is bleak at best.

False, it just requires resolve on the right and a refusal to accept the flawed premises of the left anymore.

Same was true in the revolutionary generation. As many people supported the British as supported the revolution with an equal soft middle who wanted to be left out.

The patriots just wanted it more.

Side note - that was not a "civil" solution. It was armed conflict. Muslim terrorists are not content to just debate issues politically. The corrupt, bought and paid for people in our country are going to protect themselves even if it destroys liberty. Even the rank and file police were enforcing idiotic covid restrictions which was completely self defeating to their own political health. I've seen police officers protect anti-American protestors all over the country. The corrupt left has been efficient, patient, cunning and determined. They are succeeding spectacularly. It's been an astonishing exercise in how to overturn even the most free society.

The Peace Love Drug movement in the 60’s and 70’s weakened our society.
