Weird he got even more votes in his 2020 loss…. You idiots keep forgetting about this.

And they think Pedo Joe will somehow be able to still have great support after what he has done in the last two years. I think more people will vote with their pocket books this time. Could be wrong, but I don’t think many still want inflation, a recession, Afghanistan exit, border issues, high food prices, food shortages, border issues, high fuel prices as reasons to say, I WANT MORE OF THAT.

This and states not following their own voting laws.

No. No one in the United States is undecided or persuadable on the topic of Donald Trump. It has been that way since he took office as POTUS.

The uniparty will not allow Trump to win. That, we've seen. DeSantis cannot win without Trump voters. That, he will not get.

The old game is through. Too many see the GOP for what is really is, now. DeSantis will never be able to overcome the specter of McConnell, Ryan and the usual money players pulling his strings. We're heading into a period of growing apathy which will evolve into anger and unrest. Trump may be the last shot the GOP has at the White House in many years.

As time passes, I’m not sure Desantis can beat him. I’m watching clips of Trump’s CPAC speech and he is sharp. His line of saying “they can’t stand that they don’t own me” and “we are never going back to the party of Paul Ryan, Karl Rove, and Jeb Bush” flat out sticks. It’s a good line of reasoning and is going to play well with the majority of Republicans.

Every time I make a mental argument to dismiss Trump and move on I quickly realize there are no real challengers or options…..including DeSantis. If the political environment was not so contentious and divisive I could make a legit case to move on from Trump but right now it’s obvious what we’re up against and who we’re battling against……it’s those who desperately want to “fundamentally transform” the US into a LWO woke cultural Marxism dystopia and those who want to preserve our constitutional republic and the sovereignty of the US.

Its almost like the increased vote totals for BOTH parties were entirely attributable to increased turnout across the board.

Absolutely.
He should be running a general election campaign. If he does, his nomination will be virtually assured. The only obstacle would be potential DOJ action (which, given the cretins at DOJ, is a real possibility).

Maybe not.

He's the best choice by far, but that hasn't stopped Republicans from shooting themselves in the foot in the past.

No it isn't. It's a good line to rile up a bunch of idiots who don't know what they're talking about.

Trump's best assest is getting a bunch of idiots worked up about perceived slights and playing to their insecurities. He's damn near perfected it.

That seems inevitable more each day.

Gavin Newsom, as crappy as he is as a governor, will run absolute circles around DeSantis with suburban women.

It would depend of if they have children and whether or not RD continually attacks Newsom's policies around children.

Trump running is the only reason that DeSantis isn't a "real" option. The 30% of the GOP base that Trump has on a leash prevents anyone else gaining traction.

It WILL result in a 2024 loss.

The issue really isn’t, and has never been, Trump’s ability to rally a crowd with positive messaging.

His problems are attacking people who don’t deserve it and tweeting bullshite showing little to no self-control.

If mass mail in ballot harvesting is here to stay the Groomers are unstoppable…..there are more people willing to vote Groomer simply for the government entitlements…..it’s very difficult to defeat a political party that promises their potential voters other Americans tax dollars.

DeSantis will not beat Trump in a fair primary. He just isn’t ready. He’s come across very weak the last few weeks

Now I would not count out a rigged primary against Trump.

If it is clear as day they screwed him I will sit out the general election

That's the thing. The GOP needs to get every candidate except Ron to drop out NOW if it wants to prevent a Trump primary win. Hopefully the GOP is smart enough to see this. If Trump is denied the nomination, he will be relegated to his Truth Social temper tantrums and nothing more.

I listened to him on Sensei the other day and he was the furthest thing from sharp. He rambled and talked about how great he is and ANWAR for like 20 minutes.

His one on one interviews with friendly people are awful.

He tends to do well in focused speeches.

I responded in kind; you think he's ready for a good dialectic given what he posted?

And calling him ignorant is accurate. Jeb and RD have held the exact same job; this isn't some hypothetical where we make educated guesses about how they might perform. There's no comparison between the two.

And to the OP's question, that's exactly the shite he needs to stop doing, but he can't.
