Specifically, the act expands Section 8 housing, a government program to move violent, gun-happy, drug-dealing welfare recipients from inner-city public housing units into previously safe neighborhoods. The theory is that if only criminals lived in nice middle-class areas, they’d get jobs and become productive members of society!

Prevented by their own ideology from criticizing welfare dependency, single motherhood, drug use or criminality, liberals blame dysfunctional behavior on… zip codes. Instead of addressing why people might not want to live in places where they get mugged, Congress decided to move the bad neighborhoods to them. Work ethic, orderliness, respect for the law — irrelevant! It’s location, location, location.

In a completely unexpected development, wherever Section 8 appears, crime skyrockets.

Vetoing practically the only legislation Congress could pass this year would certainly be a choice.

I didn’t read the thing initially

The biggest supporters of section 8 are “republican” property developers because the government is involved in these loans and part of the financing has “affordable housing” baked in. To build an apartment complex 1/4 of the units will be ghetto people and it will be a war zone in the first 3 years and become all section 8

Same thing with track home developers

That's the quickest way to turn a nice, middle class neighborhood into the ghetto.

That's like saying if I mix four and a half gallons of ice cream with a half gallon of horse shite, I'll eventually end up with five gallons of ice cream.

What you actually end up with of five gallons of watery horse shite. Speaking of which, Gardere says "yo, bitch!"

Section 8 is a cancer that has already killed suburbs across the country by wedging shitty dependents into otherwise nice neighborhoods or towns.

Of course these bastards would expand upon that.

Can local governments do anything to slow or stop it from happening if passed?

I believe America is the only country in the world that will force nere' do wells upon the do wells and expect great results.

The strategy is apparent and the weak links are being sent where needed.

Has this ever worked?

The logical leap to even start the conversation on this topic is ludicrous. It's actually racist.

Nah, that’s basically what collectivism is.

They tried this in the 50s and 60s. In the 50s and 60s, the Ninth Ward was a nice clean neighborhood. By the 1970s, it was a crime infested f*cking zoo. Abject f*cking failure. This is nothing more than Odumbf*ck's wet dream to terrorize white neighborhoods and destroy our society.

It would also be the right choice.

President Trump should veto this bill.

Let the Free Market operate in the housing sector.

She’s been quasi critical of Trump all along. But not exactly against him. Consistently for sure. She was doing it well before it became fashionable in some conservative circles. But unlike others she never went overboard with it.

And that's exactly what will happen. For decades, the government has kept these people in government housing projects so they can keep them all in one place and know where they are. I wonder what has changed in that philosophy...

We don't want that ghetto trash out here in the clean, safe suburbs.
