I’m glad I’m not the only one that sees it. Val Kilmer played the gayest version of Doc Holliday in cinema history. Such an over the top pretty boy. Yet so many think it’s just a cool portrayal.
I was kind of referring to the gay relationship in the movie, not the Doc Holiday guy with the straight up smoking hot Hungarian redhead at his beck and call.

I don't plan on seeing this movie. Angel Films really messed up selling out to push Communist slop. They used up the goodwill that they earned over the years with Conservatives to push a movie that promotes anti-capitalist themes unto children.

Everyone should have known it was bullshite just because Seth Rogen was included.

WTF was Angel Studios thinking when they decided to purchase and distribute this excrement?
That's what I'd like to know. Serkis and some people from Angel agreed to be guests on Tim Pool's show to defend the film, but they bitched out at the last minute. It's too bad because I would've liked to see them face some fire. Of course, Serkis still talked to USA Today.
It feels like Angel is scrambling for damage control because they either miscalculated the response to this "reimagining" or didn't pay enough attention to what Serkis was changing. They should probably just shut down any further interviews.

It's pretty chilling what's going on in our media and entertainment industries
Have you ever looked at show credits or researched the background of the people who run those companies?

Gollum and Frodo both have TDS. Pretty sure Galadriel and Arwen do as well. I believe Aragorn stays fairly apolitical, and i know Gandalf to lean Left- though he is British and ghey, so that's almost a given.
Gimli is based, and Saruman was based.
The orcs and goblins wear black, dye their hair and live in Portland and Seattle. Their forges only produce facial jewelry now.

If the US were to turn full Nazi, we'd actually succeed and the rest of the world wouldn't be able to stop us.

Serkis is just being a good Bolshevik by doing what Bolsheviks do, rewriting history. He's a leftist piece of shite but none of this should surprise anyone. Oh and that movie will bomb.

This is an inexcusable, ignorant travesty. The book was required reading in English class in most high schools back in the day. Why not turn the theme of 1984 into a lesson about the advantages of conformity and working together toward a peaceful common goal?

So Orwell would have wanted something different than he wrote.
Next up, Shakespeare as told by his descendants.

Doing this eliminates the entire point of the story.
