Dodge. Please explain how 3rd world scoff-laws and their spawn make this country better.
SCOTUS isn't being asked to rule on "would this make the country better?" I think the country would be better if Christianity was the state religion and racism was illegal. Can we scrap the 1A?

Thing is, I’m not even advocating for the Court to do what you’re suggesting. It doesn’t have anything to do with your supposed fear, though.

People coming in here just long enough to have a child? That is foolish of us to allow that.

I don't see how someone can really argue that she is worse than Kavanaugh. In fact, I would give a slight edge to Barrett. For example - Kavanaugh sides with Roberts more so than Barrett does.
Thomas, Gorsuch, and Alito are clear conservatives.

Dodged again. I asked YOU the question, frito. Now answer it. BTW, judges are supposed to act in the best interest of the citizenry. In so doing, they invariably fashion the legal justification for their decision after they’ve decided. Surely your extensive legal experience has taught you this, frito.

Gregg Jarrett will have been right that these justices are wary of any big decisions.
Watch they make no decision except that what ever action needs to be a law and not executive order.

She wasn't Trump's choice she was recommended by Mitch McConnell.

Trump has too many to count !

Trump is absolutely horrible at appointing people. The track record speaks for itself at this point. Milley, Powell, ACB, Noem, Bondi, Sessions, Bolton, etc the list goes on and on.

That is the process to deal with the problems that you're referencing. If our constitution is leading to those sorts of bad outcomes, then we fix it by amending the Constitution

True, but this is bigger.

Trump has a weakness for women like Bondi and Barrett. He sees their physical attractiveness then over-estimates their actual value.
That’s not a Trump issue, that’s a “every non gay dude ever” issue.

Yep. We've all thought with our dick before.
Posted on 4/4/26 at 6:53 pm to Ingeniero
“but how does that jive with this board's current obsession with "gotta be here legally, permanently, and only citizens can give birth to citizens?"”
I don’t see the issue that way bc I don’t see the 14th as being written that way.

So they’re supposed to act in the worst interest of the country? If you’re not doing one, then you’re doing the other. BTW, look at your own daily tripe for leftist nonsense.

Nope. Sometimes you just gotta do it. Hence, the EOs. But you keep white-knighting for third world shitholers if it eases your white guilt.

Their job is to objectively interpret the law. Determining what’s in the “best interest of the country” is nowhere in their job description. How old are you?
