It is amazing how pre-1980 people are dominated by race. We are probably just now getting into a new social window where someone will be judged strictly based on their content. MLK might be finally getting his dream.

Hopefully at a minimum James can make it a competitive race and force the Dems to allocate substantial $ there. 3 months is a long time till election day, hope that's enough for him to gain enough momentum to pull off the upset! It's a shame the GOP can't find more candidates like this in other races as opposed to corrupt established politician types that are boring.
