Addressing A Common Talking Point On Here That Palestine Is A Modern Creation…

Palestine as a recognized historical place has existed for millennia. Certainly it is correct that Palestine did not exist as an independent nation-state — i.e. a sovereign entity governed by its own citizens and own elected people – before 1948.
Yet neither did Israel. These 19th Century and early 20th Century maps represent this historical reality:

"Palestine" is merely a transliteration of the Greek word "Palaistine," which is itself another transliteration of the Hebrew word, "Peleset." It refers to the Philistines who lived in the region when the Jews arrived from Egypt after the Exodus.
So I guess we need to give the land back to the Philistines.

There are no Palestine people. It’s a geographical area, like the Southwest or Pacific Northwest. Same as the Mexican Reconquista movement, it’s bullshite.

Judaism was just one of several religions which evolved from the predecessor Canaanite religion. Yes, at some points in history, the ancient proto-Jews controlled most of modern Israel and the surrounding area. At other times, they were subjects of the surrounding peoples. Borders and sovereignty were shifting continuously for a thousand years.

Yes, geographical names have indeed existed for a long time. And that leads us back to the reality that Israel did not exist as sovereign nation state until 1948.
That fact in turn leads us to the question of who granted Israel it’s charter as a modern nation state? And that further leads us to the question of whether that chartering privilege be granted to other historical geographical areas seeking a claim to statehood and sovereignty?

The rest of the "Palestinians" roamed to Syria, Lebanon, Yemen, Jordan, etc just as their DNA today shows. The region they are fighting over has always been Jewish land (until conquered). The wandering Muslims from those other recognized nations now want to say "thats our land, too". Well, they claimed their land elsewhere, centuries ago, and just want to start shite where they never reigned.

Well first it was the Canaanite Civilization during the bronze age, then Eretz Yisreal or The land of Israel the land settled by the Israelites in the book of Samuel, then when the Kingdom is Israel split it became Judea. Then the Romans renamed it to Syria Palestine. It goes on more but there the timeline for 3rd graders. My point is, it's always historically been land for the Israelites and promises to them throughout religious history.
