I am an industrial HVAC tech, not a single plant I work on has any refrigeration guys. Their engineering department doesn't even manage it. It's all on my company

The Union here in NOLA will give journeyman status, based on experience and testing. They also have mechanical companies that are part of the Union, Johnson Controls and Carrier are the main ones.

Fact! They will hire a mechanical maintenance company to maintain the facility. Nobody has their own HVAC technicians other than Hotels and Hospitals.

I really just don't get it. Why are so many Americans wishing failure on our own country? I didn't vote for Trump, hell I didn't vote at all the last election. But I'll never wish failure on whoever the sitting president is! For better or worse, no matter which party is sitting in the White House or what person is sitting in the White House. They are leading our country my home if I don't like them. Oh well. I still want them to do a good job, be successful, and lead us into prosperity.

What my goal is with the cameras is that I want them on a LAN and then a way for me to to remote in and see them away from home. I'm thinking that's the most secure option but not completely secure

I have a MacBook from 2019 I believe and a Asus that's about 2 years old. But I really wanted to start the home automations and a server for my cameras and stop paying cloud fees so that's why I bought the hardware

I have whatever Cox offers as their top tier Internet and it's unlimited, it's cox though so the stability is questionable.
No on the PC but I did just order a HP mini PC to start running HA on it. It has Intel i5-12400T (6-Core)
RAM 16GB
System Drive 2TB SSD
Media Drive 12TB External
Graphics Integrated Intel UHD 730+
And a Google Coral to run the AI on my camera system.

This as far as I have gotten.
