If that building is so perfect for these events, then why would they continue having these tent parties?

The thought of a billion dollar luxury ballroom would absolutely SICKEN jesus christ, and should sicken all his followers that have dared to read the bible.
This could be said about you living a western lifestyle while your fellow men are starving in other parts of the world. Somehow you preachers always draw the line above your standard of living.

It's pretty easy to decide if the ballroom needs to be built. Just imagine if Biden proposed this and what your response would be. Now shut the frick up.

let’s talk about the Vatican before we go here.
The Vatican is an independent nation-state. It's a very old country.

I tried the search function and was surpriised there was nothing of note about the kerfuffle over the ballroom. It seems like old news, but
Can anyone actually justify spending billions on such a ghastly looking project? The suggestion that it's necessary for White House security is obviously bullshite. So much for using taxpayer money wisely (the "private donors" aren't covering the tab). This rtdiculous boondoggle shouldn't even be an issue, but it involves real money and should be debated seriously in Congress... .
Let's see....feign outrage over the construction of a much needed ballroom/facility to accommodate foreign leaders and other dignitaries for official government business or completely dismiss/ignore tens of billions, if not hundreds of billions of fraud perpetrated against the American taxpayer by various groups of 1st and 2nd generation immigrants from 3rd world shite hole countries?
You tell me?

And since YOU say it's not privately funded, it must be true.
Yep === he got a great coup - since the regular broadcast propaganda has not said a peep about it.

You lied about what the money is for while pretending others need to read the Bible, all while not even capitalizing the world "Bible."
I don't feel the need to capitalize fictional books. That said, the term "luxury" is fundamentally incompatible with jesus' teachings. You can skew your logic however you like, but deep down you know i'm right.

He would say nothing. None of them would gripe. Even the right wouldn't care.
Democrats have no core beliefs anymore. They are entirely driven by opposing anything Trump is for.

Of course but a billion dollar ballroom with no real purpose other than entertainment being built at a time when we running historically high deficits, high interest rates, and a historically high national debt, makes no sense in any way. It’s frivolous
It’s like buying a McLaren when you’re living paycheck to paycheck with maxed out credit cards.
This is democrat level stupidity

Hypocrisy aside...
A. We are hosting world leaders in fricking tents to the tune of millions per event.
B. We just had an assassination attempt of both the Prez and VP trying to host an event in a hotel.
C. WH renovations aren't even remotely unprecedented or controversial.
D. The public funding narrative is a media spin. The ballroom itself, has been privately funded. The pre-existing FDR-era East Wing underground bunker needs security upgrades, which is where the public funding comes in.

Isn't there already a large ballroom they could use on the mall? I guess at this point it's going too be built.

Give me the percent this is wasting compared to all the other obvious grifts and mass corruption in our government.
I miss the mafia, they took less of people's money than this government steals from us on a daily basis.
