Why use a religious argument if you find it fictional?

And... just so ya know, even the titles of works of fiction are capitalized. You intentionally failed to do so because you stink.

Let’s talk about the hundreds of billions of taxpayer dollars that have been stolen

The suggestion that it's necessary for White House security is obviously bullshite.

It's 6 stories deep. With all kinds of shite in it. Do you really think it's for dancing and raves? I am not a fan of a lot going on with Trump this term, but it should be somewhat concerning to you that Trump feels this is so important that he wants it done before he's out of office. That's my take, anyway.

You care about a ballroom but not gender mutilation, millions of illegal immigrants, or the FBI trying to frame a President they didn’t like lol you are the most naive fool I have ever seen on this board. Doddering old man yammering about nonsense

There are a million other things more important than this ballroom. I’m honestly shocked it’s become such an issue

Which project? The ballroom is being privately funded.
You may find it ghastly, but it is not the first time nor will it be the last time a President modifies the White House.

Not really. Large events are now held outside the White House. This gives a more secure area to house these events.

So much for using taxpayer money wisely (the "private donors" aren't covering the tab)

Private donors are covering the ballroom tab. Now if you would like to talk about the underground portion, then do so, but keep it separate.

At a time when our national debt to gdp ratio screams to cut costs on government spending, a gigantic gaudy ballroom, amounts to fiddling while DC burns….

And even if every dime is paid for by private “donors”, it’s a slap in the face to conservatives minded folks who object to our government selling out. This just invites manipulation.

I hated when Clinton and Obama sold out the White House. I hated when Biden sold access to Ukraine or anyone who would pay for his son’s shakedown demands. I hate this too.

I didn’t vote for this.

I get such a kick out of people like you. So at up with TDS, Trump could cure cancer and you’d find fault.

Trump won’t even get to use the ballroom until his third term and you’re bitching about it.

It would “sicken” Jesus Christ lol sure thing Sandra. But you know what would? Christians who can’t quote or even apply a single scripture, political leaders who believe it’s ok to and encourage other children to change their gender, millions of aborted babies since Roe v Wade, importing millions of non believers who are diametrically opposed to the teachings of Jesus, relying on the government for your needs not God, rampant homosexuality in Hollywood and Washington, and I could keep going but then again you believe a ballroom is on the list of issues that are truly important

The alternative to this would be much much worse. There’s two choices unfortunately and you’re not going to like the other guys.

So nothing should ever change or improve because it costs money?

I'd like to see a cost analysis of how much money it will save the government in the future compared to how much tax payers have spent holding functions at third party venues in the past.

Plus the events will now be a hell of a lot more secure.

I know how you feel. I said the same thing when the Obama's lit up the White House in LGBTQ colors. I knew immediately the costs would run into the billions to pay for their LGBTQ agenda on Americans.

Trump stated: “The ballroom is actually a fortified anti-drone military command center.”

So, it's really more of a military complex. The roof is a drone port. It's a strong military position to protect the President and elected officials. Essential architecture for an era of drone warfare.

But..

I think we do need to come up with a new name for it instead of "a ballroom".

Maybe the "Bunker Ballroom"? The "Underground City"?

These Figs saying that he goes into the bunker in January 2029 to protect himself and his Cabinet from the people who would enforce his departure from office are full of shite.

Look, we know you're upset your guys missed 3 times now (at least).

However, if NOT having foreign dignitaries and VIPs have to duck in and out under tents, tarps to use Port-a-potties for official state functions for the United States, just alone, does not justify this construction, I don't know what would.

And, as far as security, again, I know you're hoping for another easy layup, but your guys have missed 3 times and that's 3 too many with lax security and luck the only thing between the halfway comic results and real, real national tragedy.

The ballroom is a cover. It’s a bunker for Trump once he gets around to going “full Hitler”
