If you are unwilling to punish the other side for breaking the rules or for going against good morals, you will not last long in the game. You either must punish the other side severely for their misdeeds, play tit for tat, or find another hobby.

We should be discussing term limits for all members of congress not just the President

Calm Down my fellow MAGA. This is 4D!

That’s exactly the play here. This will kick off the Congressional term limits debate.

We can’t enter the empire stage if we refuse to end the republic stage. Once that’s done, we won’t need to worry about congressional term limits because they’ll be irrelevant.

This is going to set up an Obama v Trump 2028 election
That would be a hoot.

to old........I am his age and know the limitations only grow more severe
Posted on 1/23/25 at 7:27 pm to NashvilleTider
Nope! Two terms is enough. Plus he’d be about 86. Frick that.

Guy that proposed that is an idiot and should be tarred and feathered

To what avail? They will never pass term limits. Not to mention the unintended consequences with senate terms limits. It was designed to slow things down. Unpopular opinion...I think our founding father's design might actually be working. Now, we should reinstate impeachment at the state level for senators. That's where we should start.

Lol. Good luck getting 34 states to ratify that

I wonder if this is just more fodder being put out there for the demons to chase.

So bad when FDR did it
But
Good when Trump wants it.

Can Trump be Vance’s vice president? And if something happened to Vance, Trump be prez again?
Posted on 1/23/25 at 8:00 pm to NashvilleTider
Stupid and just gives libs something to scream about. A really dumb idea that will never be ratified.

He's 78. We want a 86 year old president?
I'm not going to turn down a good president simply because he is 86. By your logic, kamala or aoc would be better presidents than Trump.

Weird, because it seems like ammending the constitution is following the rules.
